I was falling. I didn't know how long but it felt like I have been falling for so long. My body was numb and all I saw around me was darkness. Although it surrounded me it felt warm and comforting, as if it was the place where I belonged.
"Giselle!!!" A voice was calling out. "Giselle!! Are you there?"
Who are you? I tried to open my mouth but no sound came out from my lips. It was then I realized that something was covering my face. A big hand I suppose so.
"Giselle!" The voice continued to call out, but it seemed further away from me.
I'm right here! I wanted to cry out to the familiar voice. Can't you see me? I'm here! I'm falling! Please!
I felt tears fall down my eyes as I continued to fall someplace that felt welcoming, but terrifying at the same time. Where on earth was I?

"Giselle." I got awoken by the sound of Klei's voice.
"Hmm?" I rubbed my eyes like that of a little kid, only to be greeted by Klei's worried expression. "H-hey. What happened?"
"You tell me. You started crying in your sleep. I thought that maybe you were having a nightmare." He sighed in relief and slowly stroked my hair.
"I'm sorry. I just had a bad dream. That's all." I sighed.
"Would it make you feel better if we talked about it?"
"No thank you. I'll be fine." I tried my best to muster up a convincing smile.
"Alright." Although he didn't seem convinced I think he knew that I wasn't going to tell him anything. "But if ever you want to tell me something that's alright too. Okay?"
"Mhmm." I nodded and closed my eyes as Klei gave me a soft kiss on the forehead.
"I'll head on to my room now okay? Elder Grahm might freak if he finds out that I spent the night here in your room."
"Alright then."
He soon got up from bed and went out to the door, but before exiting he gave me one last look. God dammit, why did he give me that so early in the morning? I tried my best to not seem that affected and just smiled back.
Klei gently shut the door when he left so that he wouldn't have to wake up any of the other people inside the Institute.
As soon as he left, I laid back down in bed and kept thinking about the dream I just had. Covering my eyes with my hands i decided to ponder on it a bit more, trying my best to remember what just happened. Okay, first off the place I was in was pitch black. Nothing around me, or at least nothing I could feel. There was no ground below me and air was rising up to touch my back, so it's safe to assume that I was falling. And then there was a voice. I closed my eyes, trying my best to remember what the voice sounded like, but I couldn't quite figure it out because it sounded familiar but different at the same time.
My pondering was interrupted when I heard a knock on the door. I quickly got up and fixed myself a bit before opening it. Elder Grahms greeted me with a smile on his face.
"Good Morning Princess Mikhael. Were you able to sleep well?"
"Well yes. I was rather comfortable." I put up a smile.
"That's good news to hear Princess." He gestured me to walk out the room. "If you wouldn't mind, your attendance is requested at the main hall."
"Ohh alright Elder Grahm. If it's alright, I'd like to have a few minutes to freshen myself up."
