It's been a week. The groundless whispers and murmurs continue around you, for something you didn't do.

You tried to prevent this situation to dampen your mood, besides, your friends are there to cheer you up with all sorts of silly stuffs they came up with. They even glared and called out those students gossiping behind your back.

You are truly thankful to Sachi, Miko and Chika.

"Ne, (First Name)-chan." Sachi glanced at you, as you all feast on your own lunch.

"What?" You responded.

Sachi actually paused her next words, which is rare for the infamous blunt girl. It makes you even more curious.

"Ano na..." Sachi frowned. "..You're being kind of weird.."

You raised your brow at that. Where did this come from?

"Now that you mention it..." Miko trailed off with a thoughtful look.

What? You became even more confused.

"I think Sachi-chan and Miko-chan is referring to how you're being...meek, towards those gossiping students, (First Name)-chan.." Chika clarified.

You blinked at your friends accurate statements. You stood frozen, with no words leaving your lips, but deep down, you know why you acted different.

True, you normally would have called out those students, and tell them to speak to your face, whatever they've got to say.

You're usually quite straightforward and blunt, you even tend to blurt out your inner thoughts.

Although, a week in the Student Council, around Akashi and Midorima especially, you learned to speak less if you wanted to preserve what pride you've got left and not embarrass yourself. What's more, you fear of spluttering the wrong words and get on their bad sides.

If people asked why you're being relatively quiet and obedient on this matter, the reason is because Akashi.

Akashi invited you to the Student Council - he chose you.

Akashi is also the reason why no one is vandalising your stuffs or bullying you, because doing so would indirectly question his decision.

Akashi's brilliant reputation protects you, and you tarnished it. Because of you, he's now being considered incompetent in choosing subordinates.

You are innocent, but you can't prove it, and you dragged him into this mess. You feel ashamed of yourself, of how helpless you are.

Furthermore, if you were to called out those students and created an even bigger mess, that will just show people how unruly and impolite the you Akashi had chosen.

Which is why you're behaving.

Days passed, and eventually it's almost two weeks after that incident. The rumours have surprisingly died down in one night, like someone put it out forcefully. Instead, you've been receiving curious glances these past few days - no malices, just pure curiosities.

Your friends also heard of a weird rumour, involving Satou Minako. Rumours said Satou transferred out just a few days ago. Of course, you couldn't believe that. Satou is an honorary student. Transferring out at this point of time are likely to blemish her flawless record.
