"..Tet-chan...?"

A quiet whisper escaped your throat with difficulties. Your feet are frozen still, they don't even shake.

You can't even tell if your heart is actually beating, nor if you're breathing right. All of your senses are focused on the sight before you; Kuroko.

The childhood sweetheart of your whole life is standing there, completely still. The dark night shadows most of his features, but you can see it.

The silent cracking sounds of his heartbreak, the visible hurt presents in his blue eyes. That painful look. Before he turned and walked away.

He didn't say anything, - not a thing. Yet it's clear as day to you. You hurt him; your most cherished person.

Your best friend, who's always there to stroke your depressed back, comforting you not with his words but his presence.

Before you know it, salty tears flowed freely from your (Eye Colour) eyes. Confusion and grief were the only thing you remembered from that day.

You must have looked miserable, because your parents immediately bombarded you with worried questions, and you shook your head at each and everyone of them.

"What happened, (First Name)-chan?! Was it Akashi-kun?" you shook your head.

"Did that boy mistreat you in any way?!" again, you shook your head.

Various questions were thrown at you, but you could only shake your head while repeating the same words, "That's not it..".

It should've been a nice, good day out with your adored date. So why did things turned out this way?

That night, you cried yourself to a dreamless sleep.

Morning came too soon for your liking, and you wake up with slight headache and puffy eyes, the by-products of your tearful night.

It's Sunday and you can't work up the courage to meet Kuroko, nor do you have the energy to do any activities.

So you stay indoor the whole day, reflecting on your wrongdoings that might have hurt Kuroko.

You think hard and lots, but the date with Akashi is the only thing you could think of.

Kuroko probably heard all about it the night Akashi dropped you off. The thing you can't understand is, why.

Why does the date hurt Kuroko?

The next day, Monday. Kuroko didn't come. He didn't stop by your home to walk to school together.

Even when you waited for the clock to pass 7.15, he didn't come. You are late for class that day, and at school, Kuroko acts like he doesn't even know you.

The affectionate name you called him since childhood days doesn't earn his attention. Your stares and gazes fell blind on him.

The cold shoulders he gave you before, can't even compare to the ones he gave you today.

Of course, your colourful friends noticed this.
