Loud chatters fill the air as students of Teikō are having their lunch breaks. Our colourful group could be found perched on the rooftop, chatting and eating.
"Yesterday was horrible! I had to run marathon because of Dai-chan and Ki-chan!" Momoi whined in frustration.
"Hmm? Did Tsuki-chan end up with Aomine-kun and Kise-kun?" You questioned from her side, curious. "And while I understand Aomine-kun as the cause, why Kise-kun, too?"
Momoi's expression fell at that as she grimaced. "..Ki-chan's fangirls spotted him and you know the rest.."
You twitched at that. No word can ever explain the dread of fangirls.
"A-Ah.." You awkwardly turned to Murasakibara, wanting to shift the subject. "H-How about Murasakibara-kun? How was your day?"
Murasakibara munched on his treats and paused thoughtfully. "Eh? I was with Mido-chin yesterday.."
Midorima twitched visibly.
Murasakibara continued in a relaxed manner. "I was browsing for snacks and Mido-chin looked for antiques since we've never been in the area before."
"Then when the sun sets, Mido-chin asked me if I know the way home."
Erk.
"Police-san helped us call our parents to pick us up." Murasakibara confessed without a care as Midorima's face burned with embarrassment.
The rest of you are trying (and failing) not to laugh while imagining the two males with towering heights at the Police's Office as they waited for their parents to come fetch them like lost children.
It is, without a doubt, a mortifying experience for Midorima.
"I was with Tet-chan and Akashi-kun!" You chirped. You sincerely think the two were probably the best companions since you didn't experience any of the mentioned mortification.
"It feels great to run that far distance once in a while!" You smiled, turning to Kuroko. "Isn't it, Tet-chan?"
Kuroko only nodded indifferently. Though it must be your imagination when you thought you saw a tinge of sadness in his eyes.
Momoi pouted. "This is all Dai-chan's fault!" She turned to glare at the tan-skinned boy. "If only you didn't play around, I wouldn't be all sores like this!"
"Wha-?!" Aomine squawked in defiance. "Kise provoked me first!"
"Eh?? Murasakicchi started it!" Kise wailed, eyeing the lax purple giant.
"It's because Mido-chin didn't let me go to the convenience store." Murasakibara huffed slightly as the greenette is flustered.
"What?!" Midorima shouted, irritated. "Do you know how it late it was?! Letting you go to the convenience store would only be chaos! I only agreed to the pool, not any other outing!"
The boys minus Kuroko and Akashi continue to bicker, putting and calling faults on another. Their loud voices are really annoying you.
You sighed. "You boys are being childish." You gestured at Kuroko and Akashi. "Look at Tet-chan and Akashi-kun. You should all be like them!"
