FALLING IN LOVE

"....like to join me" he asked, montioning to the picnic he had set up under these beautiful lights

"I'd love to" I smile

We sat down on the nice soft grass and I grabbed a pink pillow hit his shoulder

"I can't believe you did all this" I said, looking at the perfectly baked pie and packed sandwiches

"Well I did...for you" he smiled at me

We were now just looking at each other for what seemed like forever. He had such beautiful eyes that were absolutely, astonishing and compelling

Ooh big words

"Hungry?" He asked as we finally broke stares

"Yeah, sure" I said and he passed me a sandwich and of course it tasted amazing

The date went great and I had a lot of fun. We talked for a while and ate up all the sandwiches and of course the delicious banana cream pie then just layed down on the grass and stared up at the night sky

"Is it okay if I asked what happened to your mom?" I asked

"There's not much to tell. She was an alcoholic. I barely ever saw her. She would leave for work every morning then come home drunk. My dad would just yell at her but she never listened then she just left when Max was just a todler without even saying goodbye" he explained

I looked up at him and saw his clenched jaw and glossy eyes

"Maybe she was just tired of disappointing you guys so she left" I said trying to lighten his mood

I heard him mutter something but i couldn't make out what he was saying

"What happened to your dad?" He asked

"My-my dad?" I choked

"I don't really talk about him much but he's somewhere safe now. At least that's what my mom always says" I said trying to keep my self from crying

"Freya-"

"I mean that's the truth he is somewhere safe, but he's just not physically priest right now, you know" I kinda laugh hoping to hide my sadness

"Freya-" he said again propping up on his elbow and played on his side

"I know he's with me every day cuz i always feel his energy around me but I prefer his old physical form" I said covering my face

I felt hot tears roll down the side of my face as I felt Zander pull me into his chest. I placed my head on his chest and cried into his chest

"I know how it feels to pretend to be strong when your around other people. But when your with me you don't have to pretend anymore" he whispered as I felt a heavy weight being lifted off my shoulders

I heard him chuckle "I guess you can say this is one thing we have in common. We both are missing someone in our lives"

I kinda laughed because of how deep his voice went. But it was still hot

We stayed like that for a minute until my eyes got heavy and I let the darkness consume me. I felt his warm lips press against my fore head then boom lights out everybody

Btw I talk dis way Cuz im black, some peeps be askin me why i talk like ghetto thot and i be like f u bitch haters gonna hate tho but pls don't be racist tho
