Lucille located Natsu the next day on the 3rd class deck, surrounded by his friends: a tall man with red eyes and black hair, a curvaceous young woman with deep blue eyes and long blue hair and a clean looking man with spiky ebony hair and slanted black eyes. To her surprise, she also found Levy, the maid standing quickly in fear of being yelled at as the tall man watched her in confusion. Lucille simply shook her head before turning her eyes to Natsu who was watching her in question.

"Hey, Lucy." He said with a smile and she gave him a small grin.

"Mr. Dragneel," she said, crossing her hands in front of her. "Would you mind taking a walk with me?" The taller man turned his head towards Natsu in confusion and, Lucille began to wonder if it was, awe. Natsu stood, dropping his cigarette and crushing it with his boot before shoving his hands into his pants pocket.

"Alright." He said with a nonchalant shrug of his shoulders.

"When my Pa died," Natsu was explaining as the two teens walked together over the first class deck. Every once in a while, people would look at the two in confusion, disgust and bewilderment as if trying to figure out why this pristine girl would walk around with such a grungy looking man. "I was left alone. I had no brothers, no sisters, no family whatsoever in that part of the country. So, I lit on out of there and haven't even batted an eye in that direction ever since." He glanced over at the blonde to find her transfixed in his story. He chuckled slightly. "I guess you could compare me to a tumbleweed. Going in whatever direction the wind takes." She laughed out a sound and Natsu couldn't help but feel joy from the swelling in his chest at that sound as the two gazed at each other before turning their eyes down to the floor. He clutched his sketchbook a little tighter in his right hand as he looked out over the horizon, watching the way the sun shone from the oceans clear waves.

The two walked for a moment before he took a breath. "Well, Luce, we've walked about a mile around this boat deck and talked about how amazing the weathers been and how I grew up, but I suppose that's not why you came down to the slums of my deck to invite me for a walk, amiright?" He said, the two turning their gazes back to each other.

Lucille lowered her head almost with guilt before opening her mouth to speak.

"Mr. Dragneel, I--"

"Natsu." He interrupted, her causing her head to jerk up to him.

"Natsu." She said, a little uncertain before turning her gaze back down to the deck. "I want to...thank you. You know, for what you did." She said, almost bashfully. She frowned inwardly as she felt her face redden and she turned her gaze up to Natsu's tan face. When his onyx eyes turned to hers she swallowed. "Not only for pulling me back, but also for your discretion."

He smirked, reaching up and pushing a hand through his messy pink hair. Lucille found her self enticed by the way his large fingers pushed through those beautiful strands of abnormal hair almost effortlessly, almost missing his sheepish "you're welcome." as his hand fell back to his side.

She swallowed as her blushed deepened, turning her head away from him with a sigh. "Look," she started. "I know what you must be thinking. Poor little rich girl. What does," Lucille scoffed slightly. "What does she know about misery?"
