Cassie's POV.

"He's---he's what?" I stuttered out.

"Cassie, he's awake..as in he woke up..and is talking." Harry said.

"Oh my god..I'll be there in 20 minutes. Does he need anything? I can stop and get something if he needs it!!" I said frantically as I was running to my car.

"No..just get here..but I have to warn you..he's a little...dysfunctional.." He said. I got a little worried.

"What do you mean, 'dysfunctional'? I asked. 

"He's....I don't know how to put it..on a lot of meds..well they're warring off now..but Cass..he didn't remember us at first...we had to show him..like videos..but he remembers now.." Harry said. I smiled.

"I'll see you in 20." I said and hung up before Harry could say any word..

He's awake...

Niall's POV.

"So Niall...I'm Doctor Robertson..I have a few questions to ask you if that's okay?" He said.

"Okay..shoot." I smiled.

"What is your full name?"

"Niall James Horan." 

"How old are you?" 

"Nineteen." 

"Where were you born?" 

"Mullingar, Ireland." 

"Okay..good..Brothers name?"

"Greg"

"Beat friends names?"

"Liam, Harry, Louis and Zayn." 

"Last question..girlfriends name?"

"Hannah.." I heard sharp intakes of breath.

I looked to the boys...there eyes wide.

"Did--did you just say the name I thought you said?"

"What?" 

"Hannah isn't your girlfriend..." Louis said.

"I am." A girl said...standing in the doorway, tears down her face...food in hand. She dropped the bag and ran out of the room.

"Who was that?" 

"Oh no." Harry said running out of room..the boys gave me pained expressions..

"That was your girlfriend...Girlfriend of over one year..Cassie." Louis said.

"Hannah's my girlfriend..." He said confidently. It's like my heart shattered into a million pieces. I'm sure if you listened closely enough, you could've heard it break and fall to my feet...the blood slowly draining from my body.

"I am.." I responded to Lou's inquisition.

I couldn't hold back the tears..the girl who had tried to kill me more than once, the one who wanted me dead, who wanted to break Niall and I up..and he thought he was with her? Did he not know every terrible thing she had done to him? Did he not know how much I loved him, and how much he was in love with me in return?
