Then and Now.

Ali's POV.

I knew Cassie was pretty but when i saw her, she was even more gorgeous. Like she made me look like an ugly potato..honestly.

Ni adores her..i can see it in his eyes. Niall and i always had that connection. We could read each others thoughts but just one look. He knew Will and i were perfect the second he saw us together.

**FLASHBACK**

"Ni, i'll be over in about ten minutes..and Will is going to meet us at the park.." I said.

"Alright..be better not be a jerk off." he said.

"He won't. I promise." i hung up and finished getting ready.. I only lived about six houses down so i walked over and Niall met me outside. We've been best friends for about 16 years..we were 16..our mom's were super close. so thats how we met.

"Let's go lazy pants." i said. and we walked to the park that was a few blocks away. Will was sitting on a bench waiting for us.

He hugged me when we got to him and i introduced him to Nialler.

"Will, this is my all time bestfriend and basically my brother, Niall Horan." i said.

They shook hands and i smiled. Niall looked at me not toally convinced. We walked to the ice cream place that was about two blocks away. We got there and ordered.

Will paid for me and Niall protested to pay for himself..crazy lad.

"So Will, what do you do?" Niall asked.

"I am a student at UNI. and i love to play a little futbol...or soccer..whatever you prefer to call it. And i am studying to be a sound engineer." he said. Niall's eyes lit up.

"That's what i want to study!" he said.

 Niall has always been into that stuff. Will was a year older than i was, but he got out of high school early because he got all his credits early.

We talked a little while longer and then Will drove us back home, he kissed me on the hand and then he left.

"So?" i asked.

"I approve.." Niall said. I jumped and hugged him..his approval meant the world to me.

**PRESENT**

Now that i think about it..that was a whole two years ago..man, time flys when your bestfriend is in a world famous boyband.

But anyway, back to Cassie, she is gorgeous and she is such a sweetheart. I loved her already.

i could tell Niall loved her too. I was so happy for him..since Hannah, he never really wanted to date anyone. Hannah was just awful..His mum or dad or Greg didn't like her and i certainly didn't like her either.

Hannah used to verbally abuse Niall. She would call him 'stupid' and an 'idiot' and she swore like a trucker..i mean, yeah we all swear occasionally, but it was every other word. 'fuck' this and 'fuck' that.It was just trashy.

When she didn't get her way she would smack Niall too. He told her he didn't want to go somewhere, like Sephora in the mall since it was all make up and things and she'd just hit him smack in the face.

Or she would spit places..we'd be out walking and she would just hawk it back and spit it..it was a little gross.

I honestly don't know how he put up with her for so long. And then, he found out she was cheating on him with some other boy across town..Niall's ex friend. It was awful. He loved Hannah, before the smacking and cursing and things, she was really a sweet girl..So nice and caring..i don't know what happened..but she isn't doing anything now..

She dropped out of school..and i haven't seen her since..i know she texted Niall and i saw what she tweeted Cassie..just awful. And yeah, Cassie swears, but barely ever..she told me she hated how it sounded..but if she was sticking up for herself, sometimes it was needed..and thats true.

I loved Cassie..she seemed so down to earth..not to mention she was hilarious. We said, we'd hangout one day this weel while she was here..we already exchanged numbers and things..i couldn't wait to get to know her..i approve already.

She was good for Niall..and i could already tell they have a special connection.
