MONDAY
Days have passed and no words have been exchanged. But know that you're always on my mind. -xo
Scanning her eyes over the small piece of paper over again, Maine couldn't help but feel a wave of relief wash over her as her brain processed each word that was neatly typed out.
There was not a single name scribbled on the card that was attached to the small care package that greeted her on set first thing in the morning, but she already knew who it was from.
Finally setting the note down, Maine carefully undid the yellow ribbon that held the plastic wrapping together - wanting to take a closer look of the treats and goodies.
Each one of her favorite snacks perfectly nestled amongst another, a small smile forming on her lips as she pulled each one of them out so that she could snack on them in between the scenes she was to film throughout the day. And as she pulled the last package of Hany, Maine's eyes caught attention to what could have been mistaken as a bottom lining of the woven casing.
It was an envelope, and inside of it was a CD and yet another note.
I know you're a sucker for such old-school gestures. It's not much but I hope you like and enjoy it.
Latch - Sam Smith
Like A Star - Corinne Bailey Rae
If I Could Fly - One Direction
He really did know how to 'woo' her.
As if her smile couldn't get any bigger, Maine's lips were practically stretching from ear to ear just thinking about the time and thought he put into this gift basket. The silence between the two not seeming to bother her as much.
Just when she thought he was slipping away, he proved to her that he wasn't going to disappear just like that. Not like Alden.

TUESDAY
"Ate, may pa-deliver na naman po para sa'inyo." Her PA gushed before she even made it out of the white van that took her to and from the shoot location of her now very popular teleserye.
Letting out a giggle, Maine followed the very excited help into her tent - trying her best to bite back the smile that was fighting it's way to appear her face. She couldn't help but feel a bit excited to see what today's surprise was.
There, on her dressing room's vanity sat a bright yellow neck pillow and a red envelope, no larger than a credit card, carefully placed against it.
Maine wasted no time opening it, and just as she had guessed, inside was a Starbucks card. But unlike most gift cards that most people are used to, this one was gold with the infamous Starbucks cup and star in the middle.
Saglit lang. She thought to herself. This isn't a gift card.
Taking a closer look, Maine noticed her name etched on it in black ink.
It was a Gold Card - something she always tried to achieve but never seemed to do so. Despite the many times she would visit a local branch.
Oh, he really outdid himself now.
Setting the card down, she then proceeded to pull out the note that was also placed in the envelope.
