I sigh and stare outside the window of the manor. It had been a whole month since I came here. Of course they treated me like a daughter but I never thought they'd get this close.

  Draco walked in slowly. His letter had come. He threw me my letter before leaving. "Thank you!!" I shouted. Draco peaked his head out of the corner of the door.

  "We'll be leaving soon. Get something work on. Make sure you have the dragon in your purse." Draco says. I nod and touch a strand of my hair shyly. Draco exits slowly. My dragon lifts up its head slowly.

"Oh Synder... What am I going to do with you?" I ask softly. Synder blows out a blast of fire in irritation. "Oh i know I know. I'll teach you how to fly soon. Though it'll be a while until your able to fly. Your wings hadn't fully grown the strength to control them." I say with a sad smile. He protests by blowing a puff of smoke at me. "Or maybe Vinyl can teach you. I don't have wings."

Synder nods before opening his wings and crawling over to me. I stroked his warm head gently and watched his transform into a red and black wand. No one could suspect a thing. I grip Synder tightly and stuff him gently into my boot.

  "Be good."

  Draco and I stare at the entrance of the book shop. "Well..." I mumble and step in. The books were all neatly tidied up by section. Of course i would've thought other wise but I guess the easiest things pop up at any minutes. A whistle filled the air to play a soft to to probably calm down customers if they get board.

"Hey Uhm (Y/N) I need to tell you something when we get back.." Draco says slightly while running a hand through his platinum blonde hair. I sigh probably thinking that he was going to say he found me annoying because well, I'm a Slytherin that hasn't even shown any horrible things to Potter yet.

There was one thing I was hiding though. I had grown sassy. I hadn't exactly changed to the sweetest thing in the whole world. I had gone cold and ruthless but kept myself gently infront of Draco's parents.

"Draco... I think I need to tell you something too. Listen. I understand if you don't want to be friends but.. I can change." I say, biting my lip shyly. Scynder's wand form sparked a bit which probably signified that Scynder had just sneezed. How adorable. "I can be annoying- I can't be picky- I can even be weak- but I can change easily...-"

"(Y/N)!!! I'm not going to tell you I think we shouldn't be friends. I was going to say... How would you like to be my second in command? I-I mean be my first mate. Kinda in a way.. The second leader." Draco said thoughtfully. Only once in a while was he this soft. Unless he was around his dad. Then he'd act like an assbutt. "And... Make our relationship... Grow?"

A smirk grew on my lips. "Are you, Draco Malfoy, asking me out?" I ask with a smirk riding on my lips. A hush fell between us. "If so. I accept willingly. But I do not want anymore of this "I could care less about you" shit."

Draco turned his head toward me. For a brief moment his frown turned into a gentle smile. "Fine you have yourself a deal. You'll be my girlfriend and we'll keep it professional." He spoke, snide grin and all.

"Hmph. Oh! I found the book!" I say and pick up the weird looking book. I stare at it. Eyes appeared on its cover so I glance at Malfoy, er, Draco. "These are weird as much as Griffon Hyde." I say, handing the one book to Draco who eyes it as if expecting it to jump out at him. My own fingers found another book like it. "Okay so that's 1/9."

~~~~~~~~~~
Draco and I had managed to find all the books successfully. I stood at the counter and handed to man 16 Galleons. "That'll be all, sir." I say gently. The man nods and hands me all the books. I grab them and slip them into my bag that my mom had sent me as a present a few days ago. Not bad at all.
"Okay so we need to get the-" I was cut off short by Pansy throwing herself on Draco. I slowly narrowed my eyes in disgust. My voice got stuck in the back of my throat so I stomp off to the clothing store or whatever they call it. A scowl was warn on my face until a familiar ginger stared at me.
"(Y/N)??" George asked. His hair had grown longer than ever. I wave slightly as he walks over to me. His smile only grows as he hovered over me by a head. "Oh your no longer short!"
I laughed and punched his shoulder. "Yeah and your even more of an asshole as ever." I say, chewing on the inside of my lip. "So what's new?"
"Well. We went to Egypt. What about you? Wait I already know. You stayed with the Draco family. How much shit did you go through?" George asked, tapping his feet a bit.
"They were nice. Most of the time unless Syndor blew up something." I answer. George tilts his head to the side curiously. "She's my dragon. I mean He!" I shout quickly. "Wanna see him?"
George leans against the wall next to me. "In this alley." He points behind him. Of course. How Weasley like.
I shrug and pull out Synder. His black and red scales on the wand. I always favored his wand side. Somehow he was actually useful when I needed spells. We join George. Synder shapeshifter back into his dragon form. His tail flicked a bit with pride.
"What a handsome dragon. I know what that is. It's the Australian Zipper Back. One of the most extinct dragons ever. How did you get it?" George as putting out his hand slowly. Synder turned his head. He allowed George to stroke his body lightly.
"My dad sent me him. One of the greatest things that has actually happened since my dad bought me the Firebolt. How he got his hands on one. No one knows."
"Your family must be extremely wealthy to afford such a thing."
"I don't really know. Look I need to go.. See you around Hogwarts George.." I speak. George grabs my shoulders and hugs me tightly. I smile lightly and accept the hug willingly. We both stay like this a while until I felt him leg to.
"It's good to see you again. I really did miss you."
"I know. I'm quite irresistible." I say with a smirk. I shift a bit before walking out of the alley.
