Tori Levine. My name is not known among many people. Considering most of them are dead. I'm 29 years old and currently in a living hell. This weird disease made people started eating other people. Then, the chain started with the dead rising. I managed to survive with the help of my boyfriend, Shane. He can be an asshole but I know how to handle him and he can be really sweet when he wants to be. I don't think that I would have made it to where we are today if it wasn't for him. He made me sane in the most important times. We were scavenging around when we found a little group. They were living in the woods and we didn't have anywhere else to go. We decided to stay.

I sat on a rock, looking at the lake, it looks so untouched and beautiful. I have been so worn out with everything that has been going on around here. We have a set routine; wash clothes and hunt for food. I have a lot of things on my mind, with everything going on, but I worry about Carol and Sophia. Carol's husband, Ed, he abuses them. The worst thing is that nobody helps them. Ed thinks that he can hide it, but it's not that easy.

A large portion of the group went to Atlanta to get more food and supplies. The ones that ended up going are Glenn, Andrea, Jacqui. T-Dog, Morales, and Merle. I'm glad that Shane didn't go this time, I always get worried sick when he does. What would I do if I ever lost him?

I stood up, that reminded me, I haven't seen Shane in a while now that I think of it, I think I saw him head into the woods. I started going to the edge of the tree line when Carl came over to me.

"Hey Tori, could you play a game with me and Sophia? We're bored." I nodded and he led me away from the woods and to a different part of the camp we had, it was on the sand near the lake. I walked over to the edge of the lake and sat down.

"What do you want to play?" I asked he looked like he was thinking, then he replied.

"How about we play Tag?" I nodded and stood up.

"You're it!" He shouted, I sighed, I knew I would be it.

"Hey Carl, come back here." I said, in a serious tone. He came over, I quickly tapped his shoulder and ran off.

"TAG!" I shouted, I hope we don't attract any things by doing this.

--

In the end, I got too worried about attracting attention so I stopped the game, and let Carl and Sophia share a victory. I always did what I could to make Carl and Sophia happy, I felt sorry for them. Both of them don't really have a dad. Carl's is dead and Sophia's abuses her. I guess I feel sorry for them because they don't get a childhood these days either.

I was headed up to where we keep the tents with Carl and Sophia, I stopped by Carol and Lori and gave them their children, I walked to my tent but on the way, I got pulled into the woods.

"Hi, Tori." Shane said, I smiled at him, I hadn't seen him all day.

"Hey Shane, what's up?" I asked, he looked around and led me further into the woods.

"We shouldn't go this far, it'll start getting dark pretty soon, the sun has started to set," I started but I was cut off by Shane pushing me into a tree roughly and kissing me. I closed my eyes and kissed him back, I heard groans and realized that it must be the things again.

"Shane, we have to go." I said, I pulled him back to camp. I heard Dale shouting something while looking through binoculars. I heard a blaring car alarm coming past and a truck was behind it. I looked and saw Glenn get out of the car and everybody else get out of the truck, the only difference is that there was a new guy and no Merle, Daryl will freak when he finds out.

He got out and as soon as Carl and Lori saw him they broke down crying and ran over to him, hugging him. He looked shocked, to say the least, but I guess that they know each other. It is so refreshing to see people find each other in a world like this.

I smiled at Shane as he pulled me into a hug, he looked jealous almost. He walked me over to the man, Lori, and Carl. I didn't want to intrude on their reunion. I tried to stop him from pulling me over there but he did it anyway.

"Hey, Rick." He said to the man.

"Shane?" Rick asked, he stood up and hugged him as I awkwardly stood to the side.

"Meet my girlfriend, Tori." Shane said, as he pulled me into a side hug, I smiled sheepishly.

"Nice to meet you, Rick." I said, he put his hand out and I shook it.

"Nice to meet you too."

We all sat around the campfire, I sat next to Shane, Rick and his family was across from us but I swear I saw Shane staring at Lori. Ed, Carol, and Sophia were sitting at their own campfire, probably because Ed made them. I saw Ed putting another log onto the fire and Shane stood up.

"You want to rethink that log?" Shane asked him.

"Man, it's cold." Ed replied, I sighed and stood up. I walked over and tried to pull Shane away.

"I said do you want to rethink that log?"

"Do you want to make me?" Ed asked, I sighed and actually pulled Shane away as I saw Carol pulling the log out.

Carol apologized to me for her husband.

"No apology needed," I smiled and sat back down.

--

I decided to head to bed early, I stood up.

"I'm going to head to bed early, so goodnight everyone." I smiled as I was about to walk to my tent. Shane pulled me back down with such a force that it hurt.

"She's only kiddin' you," Shane said as he gave me a glare that was supposed to tell me to go along with it, but I'm not going to, I'm tired and want to go to sleep.

"I wasn't kidding Shane, I want to go to bed." I said and stood up again, Shane gave me a glare as I walked to my tent. He made a scene in front of everybody, they were all watching. Except for Ed, Carol, and Sophia.

What felt like a few hours later, Shane walked in.

"What was that all about?" He asked, he seemed angry.

"Shane, I'm not in the mood to fight." I said, he wouldn't listen and he kept going on about something so I got out of the tent and sat on top of the RV. I'll take watch tonight, even if I don't know how to use a gun.

I sat there until morning and tried to keep my eyes open but I failed and fell asleep.

--

I awoke to Shane's voice.

"Tori! Where are you?" He was shouting, then I heard another voice shouting.

"Tori?" It sounded like Rick's voice, what is so urgent that they need me now?

"What?" I shouted, still being mad at Shane.

"Are you on top of the RV?" Shane asked, I sat up and looked down to find Shane looking up.

"No, I'm in space." I replied sarcastically. He sighed and walked to the ladders. I really cannot be bothered with him right now.

I looked at the side of the RV and saw that it wasn't a far drop. I jumped off the side and saw Shane only just climb up the ladder, this time it was in reverse.

I was on the floor looking up and he was on the RV looking down. He sighed and started climbing down as I started walking away.

"Tori!" Shane shouted, I stopped walking and turned to face him.

"What do you want Shane?" I asked him, he rubbed the back of his neck after running his fingers through his hair.

"I'm sorry about yesterday, if that's what you're mad at me for." He said, I sighed, I knew I had to forgive him I just wasn't so happy about it.

"It's okay." I said reluctantly. He smiled and kissed me, I just stood there not moving my lips, it seemed to make him angry so I continued to not move my lips.

"Come on." He said and pulled me into the woods. I looked back and saw Rick staring at us, I was going to shout something but Shane continued to pull me through the woods.
