I walked outside to the prison yard, looking at all the walkers that have piled up since I have been in charge. Hopefully, I can get that sorted out today. Just before I went back inside, I saw one walker stand out. She was looking straight at me with a Katana in her hand. It took me a minute to realise that she was a human. I ran towards her, just as she was fainting with walkers beginning to notice her.

Opening the gates and killing walkers, I have never been quicker to do so. I grabbed the woman's legs and started to drag her, I couldn't stop otherwise she would be bitten but if I didn't I would go down with her. I tripped over a log as I was walking and felt a crack throughout my body, screaming as I fell.

I cried as walkers neared, firing my last bullets, easily running out of ammo. So I sat there, still trying to move the woman but it was no use, I couldn't stand on my right foot - my ankle must be pretty hurt.

As one walker got too close for comfort, I managed to scoot away a little until I just couldn't any more. As the walker finally crouched down, about to take a bite, a bullet flew through the walkers head. I turned to see Rick stood with his Python until he began running towards us.

Glenn followed behind him.

"Get the woman." Rick said, picking me up and running to the entrance of the prison.

"Hershel!" Rick yelled, I didn't notice before but he was holding me bridal style. Hershel walked out, on his crutches to see what the problem was. I looked down at my ankle and immediately grimaced to see it bent the wrong way.

I cried into Rick's chest at the pain which was growing worse. Rick looked as I began crying more, he was hugging me close and I was clinging to him.

"Bring her over here." He stated, Rick nodded and brought me over.

Hershel looked at my leg and grimaced too. He pulled Rick away from me, walking a little down the hall while I clutched onto the bed sheets. I saw Rick's face go a little shade whiter as he nodded and began to walk over.

"Tori, you need to be completely calm." He said, I nodded breathing a little slower. He held my leg down and I realised what they were planning.

"NO!" I screamed, pulling my leg out of Rick's grasp. I cried more thinking of the events that will soon happen.

"I can't, I just can't do this." I stated, shaking my head and bawling.

"Hey," Rick started, I looked at him.

"It'll be alright." I nodded, not really believing him. He returned to his previous position but had one hand holding my leg down while the other was in my hand. Hershel touched my ankle and I flinched away.

"Sorry" I stated, he just nodded.

"I am too." He replied before snapping my ankle back into place.

I screamed the loudest I ever had and dug my nails into Rick's hand.

"Make it stop." I said to Hershel, he grabbed some pain killers and handed them to me before walking out and grabbing some sleeping pills too. I swallowed them dry and waited to sleep.

--

When I awoke I saw Rick by my bedside.

"You're up." He stated, I just nodded. My ankle still killing me.

"How long was I sleeping for?" I asked.

"Two days, I hope you don't mind but I claimed my leadership back." I smiled as he spoke.

"However, it will be a democracy again, with a council and I would love for you to be on it." I nodded.

He grabbed the crutches from the side of the room and brought them over.

"You'll need these." I nodded and grabbed them, not wanting to stand yet.
