When we arrived at the farm, the boy passed out from blood loss and Hershel had gotten him cleaned up. As I was waiting for Hershel, Rick came over to me.
"That was brave what you did back there... Brave but stupid." He started, I sighed and put my weight on my other leg. He looked at my hand and saw the glass sticking out of it.
"We have to get your hand cleaned up." He said as he lead me over to Hershel, but before he did, I pulled him to one side.
"Hey, I just want to thank you for earlier." I started, he looked at me cocking his head to the side with confused eyes.
"With Tony." I said, refreshing his memory, he nodded and started leading me back to Hershel.
"No problem." He said.
Hershel grabbed my hand and inspected it, moving my hand around.
"This is going to hurt. Grab Rick's hand, you can't scream." He said, I nodded and grabbed Rick's hand.
"Look away." Hershel said, I looked at Rick, my eyes were scrunched up as I felt Hershel just grab the glass. I got ready to squeeze Rick's hand. As Hershel began pulling I stopped him by flinching away.
"I can't." I said, Rick grabbed my hand and placed it on his arm, so I had more to grab, in one swift movement Rick grabbed my other hand and quickly pulled out the glass. I clenched my teeth and dug my nails into Rick's arm, he didn't flinch away.
As Hershel but a white bandage around it I gave Rick the evil eyes, telling him I wasn't happy. When Hershel finished, I went over to him and hit him repeatedly on the arm I squeezed.
"Why. Did. You. Do. That!?" I asked, he just laughed and began walking away. I went to the barn, where they were now keeping the teenaged boy. I saw he was now awake and he looked awful and beaten up.
"What's your name?" I asked him
"Randall Culver" He answered.
"Where's your camp?" I asked in curiosity.
"I can't tell you." He said honestly, I sighed.
"And for a minute there I thought we were getting along." I said.
"Why would I even think about becoming friends with a bitch who recommended cutting my leg off?" He asked.
"Watch your mouth." I said in a threatening tone.
"What are you gonna do?" He asked, I was going to punch him until Shane came in and carried me out.
"You shouldn't be speaking to the kid." He said, who was he to tell me what to do?
"I was there when we found him." I argued, I walked back to the house and waited for something interesting to happen.
--
About an hour later, everybody gathered in the lounge.
"What's going on?" I asked, they all looked like they had something to think about.
"We are holding a meeting to see if Randall will live or die." Rick said, that is something to really think about.
"We shouldn't kill him. You always speak of humanity and how we need to keep what is left of it, how is killing a young boy going to keep out humanity?" Dale asked.
"Well he has proved himself to be an annoying bitch." I said, still mad from what he said earlier.
"Well what about you Glenn?" Dale asked.
"I'm sorry but we have to protect the group." He said.
"I'm with you Dale." Andrea said.
"Anybody that doesn't want to participate in the vote, sit down." Rick said. I sat down, I was angry and that could influence my decision.
When Dale noticed that Randall was most likely going to be killed, he stormed out of the room. The room was deadly silent and nobody knew what to do.
I went outside for fresh air and heard a scream.
I ran to where it came from and saw the horrifying sight of dale being eaten by a walker which was eating his intestines. As I stabbed the walker in the head everybody else came running down and saw Dale on the floor.
I couldn't help but cry as Rick held his gun to Dale's head but he couldn't shoot. Daryl grabbed the gun.
"Sorry brother..." He said and pulled the trigger.
He handed Rick his gun and walked away as we all stayed back to mourn.
