Chapter 2
Jerry has five sons? My eyes widen in horror. Mom never mentioned anything about having step-siblings or stepbrothers in this case.
My mom seems to know why I was thinking and explained, “Oh I forgot to tell you honey. Jerry has five sons. I'm sure you guys will get along well."
“My boys are very...um...likable." Jerry said, sounding very uncertain when he said likable.
I gave my mom a hard glare. Does she not know that I’m a boy repellent? Yet she didn't warn me that I was going to live with five male strangers. My fingers are crossed, hoping that Jerry's sons are little five year olds.
"They're all around your age, except for Will, he's in his twenties. I'm sure they'll like you just fine." Jerry added with a big enthusiastic smile.
Around my age?
Just shoot me.
Jerry place a hand on my mom’s back, plants a kiss on her cheeks. I see her cheeks redden and a wide smile spread across her face. I’ve never seen her that happy since my dad passed away.
Click click. I snap a photo of my mom and Jerry. Capturing the moment when my mom is at her fullest.
Jerry opens the door for both of us. His house is huge. Marble stoned floor covered with a Persian rug. In the middle, an elegant long marble stair leaded up to a second floor. A beautiful crystal chandelier hung from above, illuminating bright light upon us.“Welcome to the Parker Resident.”
My mom and I gawked at the foyer of the house.
Jerry guides us to the living room. It too, is very big. The living room is triple size of the hallway. At the back of the living leads to two other ample hallways. There was a grand dining table near the living room. With-of course- another chandelier. Four cream couches arranged in front large flat screen TV. I noticed the box of games in an open cupboard, and many different game consoles plugged into the TV.
Teenage boys.
"Boys! Come down here!" He bellowed. A few seconds later, three guys came walking into the living room. The last guy trailed in with a very pretty girl. My mouth gaped lightly and my eyes widen as I analyze them.
“Boys this is Shirley and her daughter, Josie Evans." Jerry introduced, "Shirley and Josie, these are my kids” I could tell that he’s proud of the boys.
“Hi! I’m Andrew." A young looking light brown haired and blue eyed boy(or man, due to his broken voice, like the one when you just hit you full hit puberty) introduced himself.
A tall dirty blonde haired guy stepped forward, “Nice to meet you Shirley and Josie. I'm Jace." He took my hand and plant a light kiss on it. I could feel my breathe hitches up to my throat, creating rather unattractive noises. Up closely, Jace looks incredibly hot with his dirty blonde hair, tan complexion and ripped body.
A déjà feeling overcame me as I stare at Jace. Like those feeling when you’re at the beach and you spot a hot guy walking with his group of friends, then you guys make eye contact and you swear it was love at first sight.
Yup. It’s exactly that.
He flashed me a heart dropping wink with his starling dark blue eyes. His eyes flicker on the camera around my neck.
