I told Amber I love her.

Thinking that made a smile form on my face. I felt like a love sick puppy every time I smile when I think about my Amber. For some odd reason I'm loving it. Of course Amber is not pregnant, which means we should be more careful so we won't get the pregnancy scare again.

I sighed with the smile still on my face before sitting up on the edge of my bed. "What's wrong with you?" Shawn stood in my doorway.

I shook my head. "Nothing, just thinking about life."

"It looks like love just hit you in the face," he stated before coming to realization. "Oh shit, you found love. My nigga," he chuckled to himself.

"Shut the hell up," I stood on my feet. "Don't be telling people that shit either."

"Why? It's not like your soft if you have someone you love. Shit, I think I'm in love too. Both of us are some love sick puppies."

"Does April know?" I asked.

He shrugged. "I don't know. I'm going to head out, John needs me to do some shit."

"Be safe," we gave each other dap. "I need you alive so you can pay your half of the rent."

He chuckled. "Aight." With that he walked out of my room and soon out of the apartment.

"Ahh! Yes!" Amber screamed into the pillow as she went through her intense orgasms I always give her. A few thrust later I follow pursuit. "Damn baby," she said will catching her breath. I laid beside her on my back as I disposed the condom. "We should have never done that, my parents will know we had sex."

Right! Her parents are coming over for dinner. This is my first time meeting them. I hope they like me. "Did you open up the windows?" I asked.

She nod. "Yeah."

"Then we're good. Take a shower with me," I get up and took her stretched out hand.

After taking a shower and getting dress, Amber's parents arrived with a bottle of wine and homemade cake. "Mom, dad- this is AJ; my boyfriend," Amber tugged me closer to her.

I stretched out my arm to give Amber's father a hand shake- which was very firm and more as a gestured warning to not hurt his daughter or he'll hurt me. Her mother's hand shake was firm as well, giving me the same warning.

"Let's eat," Amber said. "I made your favorite dad, lasagna with extra cheese."

As the three of us sat down at the small dining room table, Amber brought out a pan of lasagna in the middle of the table, before sitting next to me. Since they are not a religious family, I was the only one who bowed my head and asked God to bless my food.

"You're religious?" Mrs. Moore asked before taking a bite of her lasagna.

I shrugged my shoulders. "A little. I use to go to church with my mom before she passed away."

"Oh, sorry to hear that." Mrs. Moore gave me a sympathetic look. "I've heard that you have a sister."

I nod. "Yes, she's in UCLA right now."

"Did you go to college?" Mr. Moore finally spoke up.

I nod. "Yes, actually. I went to Maryland state, I was going to go back to college to get my business degree, but everything went down hill."

"Where do you work?"

"Dad," Amber called, saving the day. "How's work?"

Mr. Moore smiled. "It's fine. I finally took down that cat burglar. It took a while to find him. Anywho, AJ-"

"That's good that you found him." Amber interrupted.

I just decided to answer. "I work with my cousin in the night club in DC. It's new."

"The one called Life. I've heard, what are you? Bartender? Bouncer? DJ?" Mr. Moore asked.

I chuckled to myself. "Accountant."

"Accountant?!" Both of them said in shock.

From the corner of my eye I saw Amber roll her eyes. "Yes, he's a accountant. Can we please change the subject?" She begged.

I stuffed a fork full of delicious lasagna in my mouth, not before making sure my food was in my stomach; I turned to Amber and said, "This is delicious."

A smile spread on her face. "Thanks babe," she pecked my cheek before lifting up her own fork. I can feel Mr. Moore shooting daggers at me.

After dinner, all four of us sat in the living room watching a movie- White chicks; Mr. Moore's favorite movie. I can admit, the man has a wonderful taste in movies.

"Oh Amber, your father and I set up a trip to the astronomy village," Mrs. Moore said killing the awkward silence between the four of us.

"I thought there was no more room," Amber said in shock.

"Apparently two families cancelled," Mr. Moore said, not bothering looking away from the television.

Mrs. Moore turned to me with a huge smile on her face. "Ever since Amber was younger, she was so obsessed with space and stars-"

"I wouldn't say I was obsessed, but okay." Amber chuckled and swatted her mother's statement away.

"Anywho, we decided to take a trip to Deerlick Astronomy village in Georgia. You can see the planets and the milky-way. It became a family trip every year, until she went to college of course. Maybe you should come with."

I looked towards Amber; whom gave me pleading eyes and a nod. "I'll go. When do you leave?"

"February 18. We drive down there too, since it's not that far."

February 18. That's my grandmother's birthday. I sighed quietly. "I'll be there."

Mrs. Moore squealed in excitement. "Great."

I leaned over, trapping Amber in between me and the sink. Her parents just left thirty minutes ago. Meeting them wasn't bad at all; it was entertaining. "I didn't know you like astronomy." I said.

Amber sighed and put the last wet dish on the rack to dry. "Not since I was fifteen. You know how that is, you gotta please your parents," she turned to me. "Ever since I told them I was interested in space, they took it to the next level. You know."

I stood up straight then shock my head. "Not really."

Realization went through her head as her mouth formed into a o. "I'm sorry. I just-"

"It's fine Amber. So what's for dessert?" I put my hands on her ass, giving them a good squeeze.

Amber smirked and pulled me down into a kiss that lead to more. Let's just say, I went to sleep with a smile on my face and a beautiful naked woman beside.
