HIS-Story~4

Like mostly every morning, I went for a quick run. I usually do this when I'm frustrated or have to many things on my mind. Which I do. It's mainly work that's on my mind. Last night while I was at the club talking to Amber, the laundry mat got robbed; the door wasn't even broken into. Since Gregg and I are the only ones that handles the money and have the key for the door; of course it wasn't me; so it must be Gregg or someone else that must of took his key. Anyway, the boss is coming. I already know one of us will be in deep shit.

I walked through my apartment door while trying to catch my breath from the long run to see April and Shawn sucking faces on the couch. I slam the door close on purpose with a huge smirk on my face. "I knew it." I said as I wrap my headphones around my hand.

"You better not say anything AJ." April said.

"I won't. So tell me, how long have y'all been fucking? Or dating?" I asked.

"We're not fucking." April scoffed before walking out of the living room and into Shawn's room. I looked at Shawn with a evil grin. "So what happened to the old Shawn that was so irritated by April?" I asked.

He shrugged. "I have no idea." Shawn soon sighed as he shoulders slumped. From the looks of it, he wanted to tell me the background. Instead he changed the subject to my own issue. "I heard that the laundry mat got robbed last night. Do you think Gregg did it?"

"It wouldn't be possible, since he was with us last night."

"Well not all night. After you got slapped the shit out of you..." I shot him a glare. Which made him laugh and continue. "Gregg left, he claimed that he had something important to do."

I sighed heavily as I rubbed the sweat off my face with my dirty shirt. "Someone has to take the fall for it AJ." Shawn stated. "And we all know it's not going to be you."

"I know. I'm gonna take a shower and head out afterwards."

"You're meeting up with Amber? Aren't you?" His own lips grew into a smile as its his turn to tease me. "Aren't you cute, having a little crush." He said in a baby voice.

I suck my teeth then shook my head as I walked into my room with a small creak of my door closing. I need to hurry up and take a shower; I'm meeting Amber at noon for lunch and if I'm late, I may be on her shit list. Or close to it. My uncle Phil ... Rest his soul... Always say when I go on dates: its better to be early than late, if you're late you'll send off a expression that you'll never give a fuck about them. Which I never really do, but I do now.

I know it's really cliche, but it's something about Amber that's different..You know. She's not like Ginger or any of April's other friends; a woman that always chase dick. But she's seems pure in a way. I can't even describe it.

Once I was dress, I headed out the door and to the mall where she told me where to meet her. I walked down the crowded walk way and into Ashley Stewart to see Amber talking to a customer with a huge smile on her face. I took that time to admire her. Amber had the deepest dimples I ever saw on a female, her body is perfect no matter what anyone tells her, her ass is fat of course; you know I gotta look at the booty. Also she's just bring joy to people. I know we didn't start off on the right foot, but ever since the club, my mind and feelings changed about her. I learn more things about Amber than I ever learned about my ex.

"Can I help you sir?" A older last walked to me with a fake smile on her face. I knew from the look at her she hated her job.

I shook my head. "No I'm okay, I'm actually waiting on one of your co-workers; Amber."

The ladies smile soon turned into a real one. She told me to hold on and walked over to Amber. I watched as the older lady stopped interrupted Amber with her customer and pointed at me while whispering in her ear. The same dimple smile was still on Amber's face as she glanced up at me then back down at the floor while she listened to the older lady.
