part fifteen : new york

Today was the day, the day Weston, Brandon, Hunter, and I all started off the tour in New York City!

We had an extremely early flight, it was at 4:05am, ugh. The airport was about 15 minutes away, and we needed to be early to check in, so I woke up at 2:30.

When my alarm went off, I hopped in the shower. I quickly blowdried my hair and pulled it into a braided ponytail. I threw on some grey sweatpants, a blue tank top from PINK, my white converse, and was out the door.

My mom drove Hunter, Christine, and I, while Nick drove Weston and Brandon. Hunter and I fell asleep on eachother in the car, and were woken up at the airport to our parents taking pictures.

We grabbed our bags and went to check in, where my family had to say goodbye.

"Bye baby sis! Call me everyday, and don't do anything bad with these guys, even though I trust them. Stay safe, and I love you so much." Nick said to me, hugging me.

"Babygirl, I really don't want you to leave, but I trust that you'll be good. Call me every night, and send lots of pictures. Stay safe, I love you!" My mom said, as she kissed me on the cheek and waved goodbye.

After going through security and everything, we boarded the plane and were off to New York City! I had the window seat, Hunter in the middle, and Weston at the end. Christine and Brandon were about 5 rows behind us.

I was super tired, and I think I fell asleep before we even took off. Naturally, I just leaned onto Hunter, and drifted off.

I woke up four hours later, to see both of the guys sleeping. Since I was bored, I went on my phone, checking social medias. The first snapchat story I saw was Hunter's. It was a selfie, with me leaning asleep on him. The caption was "sleeping beauty😴👑"

I screenshotted it, and took a selfie with Weston and Hunter asleep. I made the caption "sleepy boyzzz😴😂"

The plane ride was almost over by them, so I woke the guys up and we prepared to land.

After what felt like forever, we made it to the hotel! It was right in Times Square, and was absolutely beautiful.

We checked into our rooms, on one of the top floors. It had a beautiful view. Hunter, Weston, and I in one room, and Christine and Brandon across the hall. This would be an interesting trip.

We all unpacked our bags, and claimed our beds. Weston was in the bed near the door, and Hunter and I were near the window. We agreed I'd sleep with Hunter, just because I was used to it.

I changed into a cuter outfit, and put on makeup, then I was ready to go.

The rest of the guys flew in tomorrow, so we had the rest of the day to explore the city.

We went shopping for a few hours, and then took an uber to go find a restaurant. We ended up at some pizzeria, which was actually pretty good. Dang, New York had some amazing pizza.

The day was so fun, exploring NYC with my two bestfriends. We ran into a few supporters through out the day, they were so sweet. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I loved this, and I'd never forget it.

We got back to the hotel, and it was 11:30pm. I was exhausted. I changed into more comfortable clothes, and hopped into bed. Weston and Hunter were currently broadcasting, but I was too tired.

As I drifted off to sleep, I heard Hunter move over into the bed. I could still hear him, even though he thought I was sleeping. 

"Guys look at Val, she's sleeping, but she's still so beautiful..." He whispered, and I tried not to smile. "You guys all spam her instagram, twitter, everything, and remind her how beautiful she is, because she really is. I'm so lucky to have her in my life, aren't I?"

I couldn't help it anymore, opened my eyes and smiled at him. "stop being so dang cute!!" I said, kissing his cheek. "I will when you stop being perfect, which is never."

How did I get lucky enough to have Hunter, like really. Times like this made me remember why I loved him so much.

"Well we're going to sleep now, goodnight cuties, have a good night!" Hunter said, ending the broadcast and cuddled next to me. Falling asleep in his arms was the easiest thing, I felt so safe.
