part twenty-three : breakups

*sorry if you read my last update, i wanted to change what happened oops!!*

i woke up next to hunter, i felt safe, it felt right. everything seemed okay when i was with him, nothing bad could ever happen.

i think i finally came to the conclusion that i'm in love with hunter, my best friend.

wait a second, how did i tell mark about this?

i slowly walked out of my room, leaving hunter asleep and went to my living room. i called mark, hoping he would answer.

"hey...can we talk about this distance thing?" i asked as soon as he picked up.

"yeah, it's been really hard, i miss you a lot." he answered

"i don't think it's going to work, i really really liked you, but i think i'm in love with hunter.."

and then mark was silent.

"this was..fun...while it lasted." he said quietly

"yeah, thank you for everything, and making me feel so special the last few weeks. i hope we can stay friends?" i asked.

"of course, so i guess goodbye.." he responded

"yeah..goodbye.." and then he hung up.

i walked back into my room, to see hunter still asleep. a few tears shed from my eyes, because honestly i was upset.

when hunter woke up and saw me, i think he just knew what happened. he wrapped his arms around me, just letting me know it would be okay, or it wasn't meant to be.

he really made me feel better, and i knew this is why i had to be with him.

i didn't want to tell him that too early though, i had to wait a few weeks so i didn't seem like i was hopping around too fast.

after a while, i stopped crying, and we tried to think of something to do today.

"go get dressed, i'll be back, and be ready to have some fun!" he said, about to walk downstairs.

i got dressed in a brandy melville halter top, high wasted shorts, a grey cardigan, and had a fishtail braid in. i thought i looked pretty good, and was ready for the day.

next thing i knew hunter and weston were at the door, and they looked excited.

"sooo what are we doing today?" i asked

"you'll see, just be ready for a surprise.." weston said, smirking.

i walked out the door and the three of us got into tyler's car.

we were in the car for a while, until i realized we were almost at the....airport?

"hunter, why are we at the airport?" i asked, confused.

"oh no reason, just a special someones coming to visit.." he said, smirking
