The Life of Kayla

Hey guys , I’m Kayla Ja’Shai Young but you can call me Shai. I’m 17 years old and I’m 4’9 (Yeah I know i’m short) , I’m mixed with Puerto Rican and black. My moms Puerto Rican and my dad is black. My picture is on the book cover. GO LOOK !

Pretty , huh ? Lol i’m a little conceited but not cocky. I don’t think i’m better than anyone or that anyone is better than me. We are all just made differently. I’m a laid back person , I love to shop , party, and play basketball. Now I bet you’re wondering how a pretty girl like me play basketball. Well I might be pretty but I can get my hands dirty. I’ve been balling since I was in the 4th grade. I love the game and I can say i’m good at it. I am now starting point guard at my high school. I love to party. If you ask any of my friends they would tell you I’m the life of the party. I get everybody hyped. I’m book smart and also street smart. My dad taught me everything I needed to know about the streets. My mom doesn’t know anything about the streets. She was raised in a wealthy house hold in Puerto Rico. But my dad was born in raised in the ghetto parts of Houston. I know you’re probably wondering how they meet, so long story short my mom moved PR (Puerto Rico) to start a new life. She wanted to be on her own and prove to her father that she can take care of herself and she did. Her and my dad met at a club and they hit it off . They’ve been married for 10 years. They had me before they got married though. We use to stay in Houston but now we’re currently staying in Atlanta. My dad is a business man. He owns his own company in a big building in ATL and all across the world. My mom is a nurse, who loves helping people. Any way back to me….. I plan on going to college and major in criminology. I want to study the behavior of criminals , you know like Criminal Minds. Some of you may not watch it but yeah that’s what I want to do.

I’m dating a college athlete Kayden Jermaine Smith, who attends Louisiana State University.  Yeah long distance relationship. We’ve been together for 3 years. We meet when I was a freshman. I went to a party in Houston and he asked for my number. Y’all now how that goes. But we’ve been together ever since then. I go to every game and he comes to visit when he doesn’t have practice or game. He also comes from a wealthy family. I love my boyfriend, that’s bae! My boyfriend means the world to me. He’s my everything and more.
