i can't believe this pt 2

I still can't believe what Eli has told me . He's been a kingpin since middle school and he's never told me . I didn't even sleep last night. I couldn't, all that caught me by surprise . We tell each other everything. Now y'all see why i wanted to take things slow . I guess people do change .

I looked at Eli as he slept. I wanted to wake him up and talk about all thus but i really didn't have anything to say to him . He's my BestFriend and he kept something like this from me . I got up to take a shower to relax a little . When i got out i decided to cook everyone breakfast, but my Pops beat me to it . I walked in the kitchen , "Good morning baby girl , how'd you sleep?" He asked . "Not good Pops. Can i talk to you?" "Sure baby . What's wrong?" He asked turning the stove down . "i don't know what to do right now. Last night Eli told me he...he was a kingpin."  He just looked at me saying nothing . I looked at him , "Say something dad." "Look Kayla , i know what he is I've always known . I'm also i kingpin." I can't believe what I'm hearing right now . Why is this happening to me? "Your mother and i didn't want to tell you but now i have no choice. Eli use to work for me until i decided to give up the game and hand it down to Eli. He was one of my best workers." I didn't care to hear any more so i just left and went back to my room. Eli was in the shower so i grabbed my ipod and headphones and sat in my balcony . I needed to clear my head , It was too much going on for me . I decided to pack my bags and head to Ava's to clear my head .

When i got to Ava's she knew something was wrong with me . I layed across her bed and poured my heart out . "what's wrong bae?" She asked me . "Eli is a kingpin." I cried into her arms . "Oh baby , it's okay . He wanted to tell you for the longest but he didn't know how. He's been working for you father for a while now ." I just stared at her . I can't believe she knew and didn't tell me. I got up and left . I didn't know where else to go . Mariah was out of town for basketball and i didn't wanna go back home . I decided to just get a hotel . I need to clear my head and think about everything . I checked in and went to my ruin and took a long bubble bath . After i got out the tub i just laid in bed and cried myself to sleep .
