"Run!" she yelled to her friends. "Run and don't stop!" She ran as well, from a danger unknown. She also watched them continue running, several feet ahead. She heard heavy footsteps behind. "I'm an idiot," she mumbled to herself. "I never should have let them drag me out here." She kept running. The footsteps were getting closer. The farther she ran, the closer the footsteps seemed to get. She wondered why she hadn't brought her knife. One of the boys ahead fell. She quickly helped him up as she ran past. "Th-thanks.." he whispered. "No problem, just keep running until you're out of the woods," She veered off the other way in hopes of distracting the person. "Hey!" she screamed, "This way!" She heard a small laugh. "Trying to distract me, 'eh?" a smooth, deep voice said. A dark figure came out of the brush. He stood tall, only his silhouette visible. She stared at the figure in fear, slowly backing up. She tripped over something behind her and fell tho the ground. A small amount of moonlight came through the trees and she was able to see his smirk and a blade at his side. She backed away more. The man laughed. A cruel, horrible laugh. "G-get away." she managed to stutter. He leaned closer towards her. She scooted back, and her hand slipped and she was on her back. The man pulled his blade further away from his side. She stared at it. Then it came. The blade was thrown, dead center of her chest. It was cold and painful. She screamed. He smirked. "And don't worry, your friends won't die, you were my target for the longest time." Her eyes widened as she slowly died. "Y-you horrible m-monster..." she managed to stutter as all her vision went black and she took her final breath.
(sorry if this is crappy. I just literally woke up when I wrote this.)
