"A walk in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact that I'm dragging a body behind me should be completely irrelevant. After all, it won't be my problem anymore, now, will it? And neither will you," I smiled as I watched the girl in front of me develop a look of horror on her face. It was quite satisfying to know how it feels making someone quake with fear. "Now, keep this between us, and you won't end up with the same fate. Why don't you follow me so I can be sure that you don't get any ideas." I watch her nod and try to swallow the lump in her throat and slowly follow me. How nice. I've scared someone into following me. Who knows, this might actually be fun if it comes to that.

I really tried ignoring her behind me, though I had to keep a close eye on her so she wouldn't run away from me. Because I really didn't need police knowing about me and what I can and will do. Even if they did, I'd probably be able to take them, so why worry, right? I knew of a well that I'd be depositing the body in, so it wasn't like we were going to get lost either.

>"Why'd you do it?" her voice startled me. I could still her terror in it. At this point, I didn't say anything, honestly trying to think of why exactly I did do it. It seemed to have slipped my mind. I knew there was blood on my clothes, a knife in my pocket and adrenaline still going through my body. I also knew that I still had a crazed smile on my face, even though I wasn't exactly happy. I was almost scared myself, even though I was the one with blood on my hands, literally. I sighed and came up with an answer.

"I did it because they did something to me and my family." Was that true? I don't know. It sounded believable enough, though, so that's what I went with. Or maybe the real reason is that I actually am crazy. <

Finally arriving at the well, I decided to make the girl useful. "Come here," I called to her. I heard her feet shuffle over, as I was looking into the well, evaluating its depth. I turned back and looked down at the body I had dragged all the way out here, and began lifting it at the arms. I then looked at the girl, jerking my head in the direction of the well as it indicated what I wanted to do. She stepped closer and helped lift the legs and together we tossed the body in. I watched and listened till I heard a thud, then I took the knife that I still had on me and tossed it down as well. So then, that task accomplished. Now to figure out what to do with the girl, who couldn't be too much younger than me, maybe three or four years younger? Either way, she knew who I was now, she knows what I can do. That information shouldn't be getting out to the public. And it would be a shame to have to kill someone who didn't really do anything.

I was almost to focused on getting deeper into the woods to hear the girl attempt to turn tail and escape from me. My hand reached for the pocket knife that I still had. And I lunged. She was pinned to the ground. The last thing I remembered before my mind was overtaken by some other entity was seeing my knife at her neck and listening to her screaming. Screaming bloody murder. After all, that was what it was, wasn't it?
