*Violet’s POV*

My eyelids felt extremely heavy and the nagging thudding in my head wasn’t making things any better. I flailed my arms around, feeling the soft covers around me. I let my hands roam around the duvet, my hand hitting something, or someone. I sat up abruptly and pried my eyes open. Next to me was Niall; his sleeping form was all too familiar to me by now. What surprised me was that he was here. When had he gotten here?

I lifted the covers to see if we were dresses. Hey I had to make sure. I don’t need any surprise babies popping up on us. I let out a sigh of relief when I saw I still had clothing on.

Hold on. Why did I have a dress on? In my rush to get out of the bed I ended up flipping off the edge and landing with a thud on the floor.

“Oww,” I groaned.

I heard Niall begin to stir from above on the bed. I don’t know what got into me but I hit the deck when I heard him waking up.

“Did you fall off?” he asked, his voice thick with sleep.

“No,” I slunk back down and rolled myself beneath the bed.

I saw his feet come off the bed and he suddenly appeared on the floor facing me. He reached his hand in towards me and I took his in mine. I felt comfortable under the bed and he lay there next to me. I was beneath the bed and he was laying just outside the edge of the bed.

“Morning,” he whispered.

“Hi,” I smiled.

He scooted his head in as far as he could and I leaned in closer to grant his wishes. I kissed him softly, loving the feeling of his lips on mine. I pulled away and smiled at the Irish boy.

“When did you get home?” I asked him.

“Do you not remember anything about last night?” he studied me carefully for any reaction.

“Am I supposed to?” I asked innocently. I seriously didn’t remember a thing, but I was guessing something big happened since my head was really hurting.

His smile slightly faltered, but he shook his head.

“I should let the rest explain to you what happened, especially Sage,” his smile recomposed itself, but it made me wonder why he had reacted in such a manner.

“My head hurts,” I brought my other hand up to rub my temple.

“That is a hangover,” he chuckled lightly.

I faced him, confusion evident in my eyes.

“What?” I asked

“You’ll see. Now come one, let’s go downstairs and eat breakfast.”

I carefully rolled out from the bed and he helped me back up on my feet. We walked down the stairs hand in hand and the mess I found in the main room shocked me. There were cups littering the room. A few chairs were flipped over, and I was scared to find out what it was that was dangling from the chandelier.

“Uhh…” I didn’t have anything to say about what was in front of me.

“It was a pretty epic party,” Sage appeared next to me with a mug of hot coffee.

I took the hot drink from her and took a careful sip. It was helping my headache already.

“Please tell that is not what I think it is?” Niall pointed up at the unknown object that was dangling from above.
