*Violet’s POV*
After telling Garrett straight about all the harm he did to us. Months passed, and things only got better from there. The guys were on tour, but did come home every few weeks to visit. So I rarely saw Niall. We were holding a strong relationship, which consisted of constant calls, texts, and Skype.
Sage and I ended up telling Harry and Niall about the kiss that she and I shared. At first Niall was flabbergasted, not knowing how to react. But when he saw Harry laughing his ass off, he went along and laughed it off too. I can clearly remember him saying something about wishing he had seen Garrett’s face when it all happened.
Currently I was at one of my appointments with Elizabeth and she was weighing me in for what we hoped was the last time.
“Well Violet, you have reached the weight goal and your heart rate is at a normal level,” she filled in the criteria on the clipboard as she filled me in on this.
“So I can get off the meal plan?” I asked.
“Yes, but I don’t want you going back to restricting yourself,” she set the paperwork down and looked at me.
“I’ll try my best,” I nodded.
“Now for the scars, they all have faded to a decent shade, and I can give you more creams to keep fading them,” she reached for one of my arms and rolled up the sleeve.
“I think I want to keep them like this,” I said as I ran my finger down a few of them, “A reminder of the battle I went through.”
Elizabeth nodded, giving me a knowing smile. She had suffered from self-harm herself, but her case had not been as severe as mine. I could barely see her scars from years of fading.
“Isn’t your birthday coming up?” Sage asked, walking into the office.
“Sage!” Elizabeth exclaimed, “What have I told you about barging in on appointments?”
“Nothing,” Sage said pointedly.
The older woman opened her mouth to say something else, but she really had nothing to say on that.
“Come on Violet, let’s go home and have a movie night!” she grabbed me by the arm and dragged me out of the office.
“I’ll call you in for the next appointments,” Elizabeth called after us before me disappeared out the door.
The walk to our flat wasn’t too far. So we took the liberty of going by foot. It was nearing nighttime, and London was lighting up beautifully.
“When did the boys say they were returning?” I asked her.
“Next week I think,” Sage shrugged.
“Wrong!” I said triumphantly.
“What?” she stopped in her place and stared at me, “Are they coming back today?”
“They got here this morning, they have just been at interviews.”
“How do you know this and I don’t?” she pouted.
“I actually listen when Niall tells me these things,” knowing her, she was probably thinking about other things when she talked to Harry.
We made it to our destination and rode up our personal elevator. I was hoping that the guys hadn’t gotten there before us so I could clean the place up a bit. For only being two girls sharing an apartment, we sure knew how to make a mess. Luckily they were nowhere to be seen once we got up there. So I had the chance to clean up a bit.
