James looked up quickly while two took over with Jake, examining the damage. Once they were sure there wouldn't be any problems with it, one reached to check his pulse, looking to the other. "It's weak and slow, but he's alive," he assured them all, and James' shoulders fell slowly, about to let the relief take him over when they added a quick "for now" to the end of the sentence. Scrambling away from Sam toward the three, he looked between them panicked. "What, what do you mean 'for now'? You can't let him die, you need to fix him!" He exclaimed quickly, pushing roughly at one of the paramedics to exaggerate his point

The last thing Danny wanted was to let Ben go, but he knew Cameron was right. He swallowed hard as he watched helplessly as they worked on the love of his life. "Please" he started, his voice was broke by this time as he realized there was something seriously wrong with Ben. And this time his kisses and hugs weren't enough to fix it. "You've got to help him. He means so much to me, to all of us.... Please" he begged, almost collapsing. He leaned on a broken part of the door to balance himself. "And this guy has a piece of glass sticking out of his side, but he's more concerned with everyone else than himself" he finished, body shaking with every sob that ripped through his body.

Sam sighed as he hurried after James, gently grabbing his arm. "Come on, James" he started, pulling the drummer back slowly as he spoke. "We've got to give them room so they can work on him, okay?" He asked, unsure himself of jake was going to be okay. "Jakes gonna be fine. You guys belong together. There's no way in hell he's ever going to leave you. Not without a fight at least." He added, turning his attention to the paramedic James had pushed. He could tell he was saying something, and from the looks of it, Sam would almost bet it was about James. "Okay look you asshole. We've just been through a terrible thing. Half of the people we care about are fucking hurt and there's nothing we can do about it. But I assure you, if you don't keep your mouth off him, you'll be dealing with me."

Cameron waved quickly to the paramedics while he shook his head. "I'm fine, it's just a scratch," he assured them, moving closer to Danny quickly when he very nearly collapsed. Hooking his arm around his waist, he helped to keep him upright, using his free hand to turn Danny's gaze toward him instead of Ben, hoping to keep him from focusing on the large split that was no visible as they moved Ben to straighten him out against the backboard with a brace around his neck. Working quickly to move him out of the bus, straps were placed around his body to hold him securely against the board, moving him back toward the window. Carefully passing the board to the paramedics outside before Cameron stepped forward again. "Our driver, he's um, he's in the front," he explained, a little out of breath as the pain of his injuries started to catch up to him. Turning back to face Danny again, he steadied his hands on his shoulders. "Are you hurt?" He questioned, though it seemed a little stupid given the circumstances.

James sat back on his feet while his head hung slowly, crying silently while he watched them transport Jake up the ravine and to one ambulance. He scrambled off the bus, trying to run after them but his bare feet against the rocks left something to be desired when it came to speed, and he couldn't quite make it before they were speeding away with the love of his life. James stopped in his tracks with a pained scream, fists clenched at his sides while he called to the ambulance, though he knew it was no use, begging for them to take him too.

Danny shook his head, trying desperately to stay with Ben as they loaded his body on the stretcher. Despite Cameron's help, he felt like he was going to pass out at any moment. He took several quick breaths, trying his best to regain some composure. Was he hurt? He honestly didn't know. His mind had been focused on Ben from the moment he'd opened his eyes & his mind was still on Ben now. He shrugged, tears slipping down his cheeks as he saw them lifting Ben out the window "be careful with him!" He shouted, not wanting them to hurt Ben more than he already was. He turned to the other paramedic "please, take care of him. You don't understand how much his life means to me. Without him, I'm as good as gone" and he meant that. If Ben died, he had no intention on living without him. Ben was his lifeline. He pointed at Cameron's side once more, shaking his head. "And he's not fine. Please cam, let them check you out"

Sam felt completely helpless as he watched James. He hurried over to him, wrapping his arms around his waist. He tried his best to keep his own emotions in check, trying to remain strong for James. "Come here" he said softly, his eyes fell on Ben's body. He couldn't stop the tears as he finally saw just how bad Ben was hurt. His body shook with sobs, burying his face in the curve of the drummers neck. "Why did this have to happen to us?!" He cried, silently praying they'd all make it out alive.

Cameron felt more than a little guilty. Danny and James were watching their significant others transported from their lives with no clue whether or not they'd survive the night, and meanwhile all he wanted to do was hold Sam as tight as he could and never let him go, so he focused his efforts on making sure everyone else was fine and taken care of. Glancing at his side again, he shook his head quickly before looking back at Danny. "I will, I promise, but I need to know if you're hurt," he explained calmly, looking him over for any signs of visible injury. Carefully tugging him toward the lounge, he glanced up as the paramedics dropped a rope ladder down to help them out. Helping Danny onto it, he followed him with his hands to make sure he wasn't going to fall before climbing up and out of the bus as well. Allowing the paramedics to help him down and off the bus, he joined the huddled group a few feet away, moving to wrap his arms around both Sam and James, pulling them securely against his chest before pulling Danny in as well. He tried to keep his composure while he tried administered kisses to the tops of each of their heads, stopping on Sam to press his face against his hair. Muttering softly, trying to calm them down. "It'll be okay. They'll be okay," he assured them, though he wasn't so sure himself.

James struggled against Sam momentarily, screaming so loud that his voice was hoarse while he pleaded with the ambulance that was already gone. "Take me with you! Please, take me with you!" As it disappeared from his view, he sank back into Sam, closing his arms tightly around him. His face pressed to the side of Sam's while he cried silently, jumping a little at the feeling of Cameron and Danny joining them
