Danny nodded, scooting the chair closer to the bed. Keeping his hand laced with Ben's, he gave it a squeeze before bringing it to his lips, kissing over each knuckle slowly. "Are you okay?" He asked softly as he looked into his husbands eyes.
Ben watched as Danny kissed his knuckles, and the familiarity of his lips was comforting in the best way. Moving over on the bed and closer to Danny, he motioned him closer with his finger before laying his hand against Danny's cheek, bringing their lips together in a slow, nervous kiss. Ben didn't know what he'd expected, maybe something like flood gates opened, but it wasn't like that at all. The only two things he knew for certain - he was in a relatively successful band and married - were the sole focus, and as fuzzy memories were restored, he kissed Danny harder. Parting his lips slightly, he traced his tongue slowly along Danny's lower lip, recalling minute details of their wedding night, their biggest shows and successes.
Danny moved closer to Ben, letting his eyes slip closed as he returned the kiss. He found it hard not to wrap his arms around Ben. As he felt Ben's lips part, he let his tongue slip past his lips, his tongue covering every inch of his husbands mouth.
Ben moved his arm around Danny's neck, but his lips broke from his, leaning his forehead against Danny's. Grinning slowly, he kept his eyes closed but spoke softly. "Your face is still pretty stupid," he muttered quietly, bringing his hand up from Danny's to lay against his cheek. "But I don't hate it so much now."
And it was in that moment, those words that let Danny know Ben was okay. The smile on his face grew wider as he climbed on the bed next to Ben, slipping his arms around his neck. "Welcome back, my love" he said softly, pressing soft kisses over every inch of his husbands face.
Ben moved over, making room for Danny on the bed while he leaned back, turning onto his side. Looking over Danny with a small smile, he shook his head slightly. "I don't ever want to leave again," he assured him, closing his eyes tightly while Danny kissed his face.
Danny's own eyes slipped closed as he moved in, closing the already small gap between their bodies. "I love you, Benjamin. I told you I'd never leave you and I meant it" he said softly.
Ben smiled and let his eyes slip closed slowly. After all the hell they'd endured, Ben knew without a shadow of doubt that they were meant to be together. He believed it was Danny's love that brought him back. "We're going to be okay." He said softly. "Me and you forever."
Danny nodded in agreement and wrapped his arm around Ben's shoulder. "Forever, baby"
James couldn't explain how happy he was now. Knowing jake was okay made everything easier. "I love you, jake" he said softly, running his fingers through the guitarists hair.
The smile on Jake's face grew at the four words. "I love you too, James" he began "more than I ever thought I could." And it was true. Jake had never felt the way he did about James before and knew he never would again.
"Marry me?" James asked, swallowing back tears as he looked in Jake's eyes.
Jake's mouth dropped and he tilted his head to the side a bit with a grin. "I'm sorry these pills have me loopy. I could have sworn I just heard you propose to me"
James nodded. "I did. Almost losing you was enough to show me how much I care. I don't ever want to be without you. Will you marry me?"
By the time he'd finished, tears filled Jake's eyes. He turned slightly, wrapping an arm around James to pull him close. "Yes, baby. I'll marry you"
A/N: yes, I'm ending this here. I believe it's a good place to stop. Plus, it gives me room to write a sequel! Thanks for reading.
