"Why didn't you tell me that you had a good throwing arm, and quarterback instincts?" asked Kaira "Because I didn't want you to try and persuade me to do something I don't like." said Farrôn "Farrôn, the way you view sports could be changed if you gave it a chance and if you have someone to talk about it with." said Kaira "I did once, it work out so well and I had someone to talk to about it but I really didn't trust them like right now, I don't want to trust you," said Farrôn "You can trust me, I know we just met and all, but you can. I can prove it to just tell me how." pleaded Kaira "I don't know if I can, you may just be acting because you saw me throw and you may not want to be my friend if I don't play football or any sport even though I'm good at it!" yelled Farrôn "Farrôn I would still be your friend no matter what, I don't care if you don't play sports I'm here for you when you need me." assured Kaira "You don't mean that Kaira." argued Farrôn "Yes I do, I mean every word. I want to be your friend not only to support you but you made my life interesting in only a couple of hours." said Kaira "What happens when I stop making your life? Will you try to change me? Will be out of my life? Would you ignore me? Will you pretend like me and you never meet?" questioned Farrôn "I will be there for you when you need me but first you have to let me in." She replied "You....... don't mean it, you don't." said Farrôn with his face looking twisted and he runs away "Farrôn!" yelled Kaira but Derek grab her arm "Don't go just yet, let him cool down then go to him." he said "What do you know about him huh?" questioned Kaira "I was his friend he talked about but I couldn't change him, he began to isolate himself from me, he even avoided from talking to me in class and outside of it. In other words he locked away his emotions and bottled them up inside him." He responded "First off, you weren't wrong for trying to change but you should have found a way to him change little by little not on a large scale which I guarantee is how you tried to do it." Kaira said "I did but I wanted him to try to get over it fast because it was painful to see my friend drift away from me and after multiple attempts I stop trying." he said "You shouldn't have stopped trying you should of kept trying until you reached him, now what happened to make him so distant?" Kaira asked "You right about the trying part but I felt someone else would come and help me, about what happened you have to hear it from him not me because it's his story to tell not mine." he responded "Alright, but I need you to go with me though and don't chicken out on me Derek." said Kaira
The bell rings and the last class of the day are dismissed, leaving the hallways packed with eager students ready to leave the campus to get with or to carry out their extracurricular activities. "Do you think that he will inside the school?" asked Kaira "Nope, I believe that he will be near his proud Nissan of his." said Derek, they head over to the school parking lot and see Farrôn preparing to get in his car. "Farrôn, wait!" yelled Kaira "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" snapped Farrôn, and Derek body tenses up as he clenches his fist "I want to talk to you, I want to know what happened between you and Derek?" she said calmly as they get to his car "Why don't you ask the man himself what happened between us?" said Farrôn as he calmed down "He said that he tried to change your view." she replied "Of course, but did he tell which part?" She asked "No, he wanted me ask you and that it was your story to tell." She said "Why didn't you tell Derek afraid of what she might think of you after you told her what happened to between us." Smirked Farrôn, Kaira turns her head to look at Derek, "That's not why, I felt that it wasn't my place to tell her what happened to my friend, I thought she should hear it from you." said Derek "Oh really if that's the case why did you try to change me in the first place?" asked Farrôn "Because........I thought that you were hurting yourself by not acknowledging what you have and what you lack." said Derek "Stop it you two, Farrôn what happened?" Kaira snapped "Alright, Derek signed me up for the football team and introduced me to that dragon in our AP English class." said Farrôn "Why Derek? I see why for the sport part but a girl was unnecessary." said Kaira "Because I thought I could kill two birds with one stone I didn't know the girl was the rich spawn of Satan." defended Derek "Well you were wrong man, drop dead wrong." snapped Farrôn "I know, I thought I was doing the right thing but I was wrong and have admitted that a hundred times." admitted Derek "I heard but you loss my trust the day you introduced her to me. I felt that because of her all and every girl is like that." said Farrôn "But now you've realized that there are other girls and they're not like her, no one should be like Patricia. It's sad to see girls like her, they're beautiful but have to be around the popular guys," said Kaira "Yeah, but I still feel like that but I may take a chance one day." said Farrôn "Why not do it today, why not trust people that would care to be your true friends." said Kaira "I'm gonna go, but I will be in touch." said Derek as he left the two to get in his car. "Kaira do you mean what you're saying, do you truly and indefinitely mean it?" asked Farrôn curiously "Yes I do." smiled Kaira "Alright, I hope I won't regret this, but I'm gonna give you my number." said Farrôn "You won't." She said and Farrôn gives her his number
