Learning that Kaira lives closer than Farrôn thought, the fact that he was able to meet the new girl at all was shocking to say the least. Farrôn's mother talking about meeting the girl and him making up with Derek was something that he hadn't planned to far into. Matter of fact, the events that played out were making Farrôn's head ache and him feel more like skipping school the next day. Farrôn even thought about faking sick, or saying his head was hurting too much and ask his parents to let him stay at home the next day. It may seem like Farrôn's running away from the problems or potentially great developments in his life, but he thinks that avoiding the situation altogether would give him more time to gather himself. Maybe Farrôn was just trying to find a excuse a reason to not have to look Kaira or Derek in the eyes, whether the case was he was determined not to go to school tomorrow.
Farrôn starts thinking, "Maybe if I can somehow tweak the thermometer somehow, or if I can really convince Ma or Pops that I have a migraine that's really intense so I might be able to stay home." He sighs, "I already know this isn't gonna work so I don't know why I'm bothering to even think of a lie, or even a elaborate scheme to keep me from heading to school because I know my parents are gonna see right through it."
Farrôn's phone starts vibrate for a few moments and he reaches down to get it. He swipes on his phone to see another message from Kaira, "Hey, do you have time for a quick call?" He rereads the message a few times to make sure that she doesn't text again and says, "wrong number," or, "I sent you that on accident." Farrôn sees nothing like what he thought was gonna happen so he sends a reply, "Maybe..... what's the call about?" A few seconds go by and Farrôn's phone starts vibrating again. He picks it back up and it reads, "If I tell you then you might not pick up the phone, since you have a general idea what it'll be about." He facepalms thinking to himself, "She's right, but I'll never tell her that ever." He begins typing on his phone again, "Okay, but can you let me know if it's important or if it's a waste of time." He waits for another response and thinks to himself , "I wonder what happened that she needs to call me or if there's even a issue that she needs to call me." His phone vibrates again, signifying that he received another text message. "Hope you won't freak out about this, but if you're gonna take me to school tomorrow my parents would like to see you if you have the chance before tomorrow. So the issue is important so pick up when I call okay?" Farrôn looks flustered and he starts panicking, "Meeeeee???? Meet her parents, today???? Bro what in the holy....this is a lot of pressure for someone I just met." He puts his phone down, not noticing he takes the ringer off silent, and places his head in his hands. His phone starting ringing and singing Kawaki no Ameku. He reaches for his phone, he hands start shaking and he just lets his phone rest ringing in his hand. He looks at the ceiling thinking, "Am I really finna chicken out when she's calling me right now, am I scared or nervous this much. I mean I was able to deal with dragon, shouldn't I be able to deal with the random cheeky girl? There's no difference between her and dragon they're both females with a personality that clashes with my own." The phone stops ringing, and a icon pops up saying, "1 Missed Call from XXX-XXX-XXXX." Farrôn puts the phone down and puts his head in his hands, "Damn, did I really miss that call? Man that's crazy cause I actually was working up the courage to answer the phone. Well maybe she'll tell her parents that she couldn't reach me and I won't have to meet them until tomorrow at least......" His phone starts ringing again, "Oh crap she called again, I guess she thought I d ignore the first call or something.... well I'm definitely not gonna answer now or am I..... I mean she took the time to call instead of just hitting me with it tomorrow." He scratches his head, "Well here goes nothing, it's better to face things head on I guess......"
