Chapter Five

♀ Xia's POV ♀

"Surprise!" The people in the hall exclaimed cheerfully as soon as Colton opened the double doors.

I was frozen on my spot, not able to move as I take in what's actually happening right here, right now.

What I thought an attack turned out to be a surprise welcome party for me. I glanced at Colton by my side who was wearing a sheepish smile indicating that he knows about it.

Well that explains it, that's why he was never bothered even though no one was around.

"Thank you guys, I'm so surprised!" I exclaimed while hugging everyone.

And when I say everyone, I mean Charlene, Gabe and Brianna, Heath and Erina, the leaders of his fighters which are, the first Akhi, second Daughn, thirds Drake and Blake which are by the way twins and last but not the least, pack doctor Megan.

I met all of them yesterday and right in an instant, we all became friends. They are so nice and funny, especially the twins who kept on bickering about anything.

"Hey Akhi." I say as I shake hands with him. I couldn't hug guys, otherwise they will be killed in just a blink of an eye by my over protective, possessive mate.

"Luna Xia." He returned my smile. Akhi has a chocolate brown hair with hazel eyes. He is assigned to train the wolves from 18 years old and above.

"Hey Daughn." While Daughn here, has black hair and brown-black eyes who trains 15 to 17 year olds. Like Akhi, he is also mateless.

"Hey idiots." I grinned at the twins who playfully glared at me for picking at them. Drake and Blake both have blackish brownish hair while their eyes differ from one another. Drake has silvery eyes while Blake has brown eyes. This two trains the 11 year olds to 14 year olds.

And unlike Akhi and Daughn, they both have found their mates who are also twins named Zoe, who's mate is Drake and Chloe, Blake's mate.

Apparently Zoe and Chloe are out of town as of now to visit their aunt from another pack but they will be back soon. I can't wait to meet them!

"Hey smally molly." Drake grinned at me which I just rolled my eyes. But Blake smacked his arm earning an 'oww' from Drake.

"Idiot! She's not Molly." He retorted. Drake also smacked his arm.

"Oww!" He rubbed his arm glaring at an annoyed looking Drake.

"I know you idiot! It's just for the rhym!" Drake sputtered in as a matter-of-fact tone.

"Blake here had a point." I butted in winking at Blake.

"Yeah right, Blake said you're so tiny!" He ranted childishly pointing his index finger at Blake who cocked an eyebrow.

"Not tiny I said cute, C.U.T.E. and you're welcome since that was actually a compliment." Blake dramatically put his hand on his chest which earned an eye roll from Drake.

Colton growled which made all of us turn our heads towards his direction. Seriously though, if he didn't growl I would have forgotten my mate here because of this twins. And because he was silent.

"Mine!" He growled hugging me and nuzzling his nose on his mark calming himself.

"Sorry." Blake mumbled holding up both his hands knowing it was his compliment that made Colton growl.
