Chapter Nine

♀ Xia's POV ♀

I arrived in the house at exactly 4:00 in the afternoon. I went directly to my room and plopped myself face down on the bed.

I wasn't planning on sleeping since I haven't even ate dinner yet and haven't even showered but because of exhaustion, I passed out.

I was awaken by a loud roar so my eyes snap open but I didn't moved an inch. I suddenly got a headache because I feel someone wanting to mind link me so I opened my link wall.

Baby? Are you home now?

Where are you? I asked Daughn and he said you already got home. Please baby tell me where you are.

Xia?! Where are you?

Darling where are you?

Baby? Please tell me where you are right now.

Baby?

Luna Xia? Can you hear me?

My baby please answer me.

Luna? Luna Xia? Can you hear me?

Darling we are all worried about you.

Oh my God Xia please answer us!

We are so worried about you! Where are you? Please!

Baby? My princess? I swear I'm going to kill whoever kidnapped you!

Please baby I'm waiting.

My love? Why can't I find you? Please be safe. Please be alive. I don't know what I'd do without you.

Xia I swear to God if your dead I'm going to kill you!

My head was bombarded with so many questions that made me feel extremely guilty.

But the last voice made me roll my eyes. That was from my twin brother.

"Shit." I muttered as I realize I wasn't able to mind link Colton that I already got home.

It was already dark outside from the window so I looked at the time and saw it was already 8:00 in the evening.

They must have been looking for me everywhere for hours now!

I sighed, I have to explain to them and apologize for falling asleep without letting anyone know that I already got home.

Before I even manage to push myself off of the bed, the door swung open, base from the amazing smell I knew it was my mate but I couldn't see him since I'm facing the bed.

"Fuck!" He shouted in frustration as I hear his footsteps around the room. He must have been pacing back and forth.

Why can't he smell my scent?

All of a sudden, he stopped pacing back and forth and I heard him sniff loudly.

Finally. I thought as I sighed.

"Baby?" His voice were full of hope. As if it's pleading I'd say yes.

"Present!" I hollered as I lift one of my hands in the air.

Instantly I was carried gently away out of bed and now I'm on Colton's lap.

"God, baby you scared me. I'm so glad you're okay." He said as he nuzzled his nose on the crook of my neck.
