Chapter Thirteen

♀ Xia's POV ♀

I woke up in the morning feeling extremely sick. My surroundings were moving and I patted the bed to see if Colton was still asleep beside me.

Apparently, not.

I sighed annoyed. I know he's busy with alpha duties but he could at least wait for me to wake up or better yet wake me up to kiss goodbye.

I groaned and quickly dragged myself towards the bathroom and began throwing up.

After flushing the toilet, I practically dragged myself again back to our bed and plopped myself face down.

I must have fallen asleep for a while since I woke up in the exact same position but the difference is my back feels sore.

I slowly lay on my back and gently stood up so I can shower and start my day.

Before I reach the kitchen, the smell of food that's supposed to make me feel hungry only made me want to puke everything I ate in my entire life.

I instantly covered my nose and entered the kitchen seeing Brianna and Erina that looked like they just finished cooking.

"What's that? It smells awful." I asked still covering my nose and mouth with my hand.

"Bacon and eggs?" Brianna answered me with a question, face completely confused.

"Your favorite meal." My answer to Erina's statement was a nod with a shrug.

I just can't stand them right now. They smell gross, sorry. Apples will be fine for me. I will be in my room.

I mind linked both of them after snatching three apples using my free hand and putting them in the big front pocket of Colton's hoody which I'm wearing right now.

"Maybe you should see a doctor." I came to a halt upon hearing Brianna's statement.

I turned my head to raise an eye brow to them.

You think I'm sick? I asked still using the mind link.

"You're obviously sick. We heard you throwing up this morning. You were also dizzy and threw up yesterday. Then you don't want to eat your usual food. Uhm, maybe there's something wrong with your stomach. Go to Jacob and don't make all of us worry. Please." I thought about it for a minute and was about to turn down Brianna but the look they both gave me made me change my mind.

Worry was clearly evident in their eyes. Which made me think that if I get sick, the rest of the pack will get worried about me. I don't want that. So I decided to go and see him later today.

Okay, I will see Jacob after breakfast. They both sighed in relief and grinned at me wiggling their eye brows.

I furrowed my eye brows and gave them a pointed look which they just answered with a shrug and left me on the hall way like I wasn't even there.

I rolled my eyes and turned to leave. Excited to devour my three delicious apples.

Feeling bored all of a sudden, I started to fix my scrapbook with our pictures starting from the first day I met Colton. Then afterwards I decided to strode around the mall before visiting Jacob at the infirmary. I wore a dark blue skinny jeans with a maroon hood over my white tank top. I didn't have any particular reason as to why I suddenly wanted to explore the mall on my own. Maybe I just wanted to get away from the stress around here, not that I complain.
