Jade -

After Qui-gon died and Obi-wan got Anakin as a padawan I was summoned to the Jedi Council room. Anakin was doing well for the first year but the council still thought that he was too old to begin training.

Obi-wan did it anyway since Qui-gon's last words were telling him to train the boy. I ran into them in the hall actually, Obi-wan was telling Anakin things about the Temple, giving a tour.

"Master Terrano!" Anakin said excitedly running up to me and giving me a hug.

I laughed and hugged the little guy back, "Hey Ani, haven't see you in almost a year!" I exclaimed, messing up his hair as he pulled away from our hug.

Obi-wan now stood next to him and bowed to me, "How was the mission, Jade?"

"A failure.. Aurra Sing escaped when we were bringing her back." I sighed.

"How positive is the Council that Sing was responsible for the attack on the Temple?" Obi-wan asked, putting his hands on Anakin's shoulders.

"Very, the survivors of the attack described a woman that looked exactly like her.." I paused, remembering her as a youngling, "Do you remember when she first got to the Temple?" I asked Obi-wan.

He laughed a bit, "Yes I do, she enjoyed pranking me. It's sad to think that she could be turned over that easily.." He mumbled towards the last part.

I changed the subject, "Well, the Council summoned me, I should hurry up."

Obi-wan nodded, "We will see you around." Both him and Anakin bowed to me before we went separate ways.

I walked into the Jedi council, they had been waiting for me. In the center of the room a boy stood there. All their heads turned when I walked in. My hands were connected which made my cloak cover my entire body besides my face.

"Master Terrano, I'd like you to meet your new Padawan.." Master Windu said, gesturing to the boy.

The boy was maybe round eleven years old, he had dark black hair and deep blue eyes. He looked at me shyly and smiled, I smiled at him kindly.

"Hmm, a padawan?" I asked the council, "Since when did you decide I was ready for one?"

Master Windu chuckled slightly, "A long time ago, this is Teegan, we figured he would be perfect for you."

I stood behind Teegan and placed my hands on his shoulders, "Well, do you atleast have another mission for me as well?" I asked them.

"Another? You just got back from one." Master wind spoke, looking at all the other Jedi Masters.

"I can't sit still for long." I replied, smiling.

"Well, we have found a slave on Tattooine who is very strong with the Force. Master Yoda and I could feel his birth and we want you to go pick him up. We could tell he was going to do great things one day." Master Windu explained.

"Right, when was this kid born?" I asked them.

"Two years ago.. Our senses haven't changed since then." Master Windu said.

I thought for a second, "Alright, I accept the mission. What's the kid's name?"

"Caleb Dume. Find him and bring him back. I can guarantee his dad would let him come with you." Master Windu said.

I bowed and started to walk away, "C'mon Teegan, we've got a mission to do."

Teegan and I walked through the Temple, to my ship which was in a small hangar on the side of the Temple. Teegan and I didn't talk the whole way there, he was a bit shy and not as confident as the rest of the younglings. Obi-wan was like that when he was younger too so I didn't think much of it.
