The Beginning of The Army

8. Masters

Just saying this is what Obi-wan looks like right now since he had to shave his beard off like last year for their mission, it's still growin' back haha. Hope you enjoy this crazy ass chapter. (Ewan is really cute and I love him oml, js)

Jade -

Tonight, I actually got some sleep. After a couple of days ago when I got the vision, I started sleeping instead of meditating again. 

Master Yaddle who was on the Jedi Council died and Master Shaak Ti took Yaddle's place, other than that, not much has been happening besides me teaching Teegan how to dual-wield lightsabers. 

After I had gotten good at it he realized it's a lot better than only using one. Jedi are supposed to use most of their free time to improve their skill and knowledge so that's what him and I were doing.

The Council decided I would be best if I slept and meditated in the Jedi hospital for a week or so just until they know I'm okay. I am okay though, it's just what I saw scared me to the core and I freaked out.

I guess I still had some trauma though. I was meditating when I heard Master Yoda and Master Windu talking outside the door of the room.

I snuck over and listened through the door.

"How do you think she'll react this proposal?" Master Windu asked.

"She'll accept it, assume I do." Master Yoda said.

"And what if she says no?" Master Windu asked once more.

"Doubt that, I do." Master Yoda replied and I quickly ran to my bed and continued to meditate again.

They walked in and waited for me to open my eyes, it was considered disrespectful to disturb a Jedi in meditation. I opened my eyes and turned to let my feet hang off the bed while I sat on it.

"What is it?" I asked them, curious to what this proposal was.

"We have something to asked you." Master Windu said, looking at Master Yoda then to me.

"Ask away." I told them, a smile on my face.

"We have an open seat on the Council, do you want to take that place?" Master Windu asked, getting straight to the question.

My eyes widened and I stood up, walking closer to them, I was about to make a sarcastic comment but decided this was a bad time to do so, "Y-Yes, of course!"

They both smiled, "You've proved that you're skill, wits and emotional state are stronger than any Jedi we've come across, besides Master Yoda of course." Master Windu said.

My eyesbrows raised slightly, shocked at what he had just told me, "Thank you, Master." I bowed.

They both bowed to me and left the room, I couldn't help but jump around with joy after the door shut. 

I sat back on the table and continued to meditate until Teegan and Anakin walked in. Again, waiting for me to stop meditating.

I open my eyes and stood up, grabbing my lightsabers. "Aren't you supposed to be training with Obi-wan?" I asked Anakin.

He nodded, "He had some other stuff to do, Teegan told me I could train with you guys." Anakin told me.

I nodded, "Of course. Do you mind if I just instruct you two? I wasn't really feeling like dueling today." I asked them.

They nodded, "Of course." Teegan said.

We walked out to the Temple grounds where we usually train and I sat down on the ledge of the second tier of cement while Anakin and Teegan started dueling on the tier below me. Anakin was 17 now and Teegan was 18, it felt like yesterday when they were just 9 and 10.
