CHAPTER IV

"Wala, lets go to the hall, Mellisa is looking for you" he said witout looking at me. I think hes blushing. He just walked away to the hall without waiting for me. Ano ba tong lalaking to, ayaw nya ba talaga sa akin ? Ano bang ginawa ko sa kanya ?

I just followed him to the hall. Pagkapasok ko sa hall grabe ang ganda nang theme, lahat kulay skyblue. M and I has the same favorite color and that is skyblue.

"Hello E, you look like amazing. Ang guapo mo talaga E!" M said at nahiya tuloy ako. I just heard Gad said "Tsss"

"Haha, ikaw talaga M, di naman" I said sabay kamot sa batok ko. I saw Gad, took a glance on me, at tumitig sa ibang direksyon.

"Hey dude, guapo mo ahh" sabi naman ni Vincent habang papalapit sakin. I just hear Gad said "Tssss" again. Bat ba kasi tong si Vincent, nandyan yung bf nya tapos ang flirt nang kupal.

"Thank you dude, ikaw din" sabi ko, di naman talaga kasi ako mean.

"Tssss, so what? we will just stay here? Lets go there and the program will start about few minutes" Gad said with a monotone, sabay lakad papunta sa table. Walang upuan ang party na to, lahat nakatayo

Tinawag na si M nang organizer, magsisimula na daw yung program. Tinawag na rin ako para kumanta. Lahat nang kakantahin ko ay mga favorite song ni M. She gave a list of the songs 2 weeks ago. In the whole program, i will be going to sing 20 songs. It's quite a lot, but it's ok, it's for my bestfriend.

Kaya pumunta na ako sa stage para kumanta, kakanta ako while si M ay pupunta sa gitna nang stage at uupo sa kulay skyblue na napakalaking chair.

I sang M's all time favorite song, Time Machine by Six Part Invention. I dont know, ito yung gusto nyang kanta, di naman bagay sa occassion, sabi nya ok lang daw, favorite kasi talaga niya eh.

I am now starting singing, while si M ay walking down to the skyblue chair. Ako naman ay nasa may gilid nang stage, but still i can see the visitors inside the hall.

I saw people, amazed with the debutant, but i could say that some of them were staring at me with amusement on their face. Lalong lalo na yung mga babae sa may harapin, sakin talaga nakatingin, di man lang nakatingin sa debutant. They keep on smiling at me, I just smiled back to them.

I sang the lyrics, and looked the table where Gad and Vincent located. I caught both of them staring at me, when Vincent noticed that I looked at them, he just smiled and nag thumbs up pa. Pero si Gad yung nakakuha nang attention ko, nakatingin lang sa akin with amusement in his eyes.

Hindi ko na binitawan sa pag titig si Gad, our eyes locked with each other.

I saw amusement on his eyes. I knew that he knew that i am looking at him also.

Im not gay, but I really have a crush on this guy, maybe a man crush. I couldnt lie that this man is so handsome. What in my mind right now, ay bakit di nya tinatanggal yung pag titig nya sa akin.

Tapos na yung kanta pero, nakatitig pa rin kami sa isat isa. I dont know pero parang di ko maalis yung tingin ko sa kanya. It's like my eyes were glue'd on his. Naputol lang yung titigan namin nung may binulong si Vincent sa kanya. Dun ko lang narinig yung palakpakan nang mga tao. Nung tumingin ako sa table nila Gad, parang may pinagtatalunan sila.

Kumanta pa ako nang kumanta, hanggang sa natapos ko yung 20 songs na ipinakanta ni M sakin. What I noticed was, everytime I sing, Gad keeped on taking a glance on me.

Pagkatapos na pagakatapos kung kumanta ay bumaba agad ako sa stage, kasi nagsimula na yung 18 treasures, and I know after this it wil be 18 candles.

Pagkatapos nung 18 candles ay 18 roses na. I will be the 17th dance at si Gad yung 18th dance. Wala na kasi silang daddy si M. He passed away 4 years ago.

Lumapit ako kay M nung turn ko na.
"Happy Birthday M, you looked gorgeous tonight" I said smiling while we're dancing

"Hahaha, tonight lang E ? but Thank you E" She said. We just danced for about 3 minutes. Pagkatapos namin sumayaw ay si Gad naman yung kasunod.

Pagkatapos nang party na yun ay nagsiuwian na kaming lahat. Nauna na si M kasama si Tita. I know sila Gad yung kasama ko. Pagkalabas ko nang hall, may kumausap sa aking babae.

"Hi, you're Ethan right?" sabi nung babae

"No, Im James" I said with a monotone with my voice. I dont like this girl but I dont want to be mean so i offer him a hand and said " You are?" I am also smiling

"Ethan let's go" Biglang may nagsalita "Flirting in your bestfriend's birthday? Tsss" sino pa nga ba ang may maasim na ugali, Eh di si Gad

"Im Mica" sabi nung babae sabay hawak aa kamay ko and we shaked it

"Nice to meet you Mica, I'm sorry but I gotta go" I pulled my hand and smiled at her

The girl just smiled at me and wave her hands, and I follow Gad to his car. Nung nakarating ako sa car ni Gad agad ako pumasok sa backseat, baka kasi nay masabi na naman tong si Gad eh

"What? you will be going sit there? Gagawin mo na naman akong driver mo? Tsss" may nasabi na naman sya

"Si Vincent ang uupo dyan di bah?" sagot ko

"He's not here right, so it means he's not here, wag ka shunga, sit here" he said, sabay tapik sa passenger seat

" Teka bro, you really getting into mynerves, we're not even close, you dont even know me and so am I, kung makasalita ka sa akin nang shunga! Ano ba talaga problema mo sa akin ha? Kanina ka pa ahh" I already bloated out. Kanina pa siya ehh. Hindi na talaga ako nakapagtimpe. Nakita ko sa mga mata nya ang shocked at napakamao sya. What susuntukin nya ako? Ok come on!!!!
