The Forgotten Minds

     I woke up from a sleep. I tried to feel around while I was too shaky to get up and move so I crawled around. I knew I was in some kind of metal box with other boxes inside of it. I saw three other people on each corner but they laid there dead. At first I thought they were dead but I went up to one and heard it breath. I knew one was a girl because of her blonde hair. Then I went up and look at another person this time it was a guy he had blonde hair as well. The last person was also a guy but he didn't have blonde hair like the others instead he had brownish blackish hair.
     They all looked different from each other their eye color and hair. I was thinking to myself what I looked like but pushed it a side when there was a red blinking light above us. I started to scream when we hit the top everything went black and the box stopped moving. I pushed up on the top of the box and it opened with a bright light coming ahead. The other awoke when the light hit them they panicked when they saw each other.
     I jumped out of the box and once I stepped onto the soft grass I remembered my name. Jenny. I helped the others out of the box and once they stepped onto the grass I knew right away they remembered as well because of the way they looked. We stood there in silence and look at the tall walls around us. I looked into the trees but there was another wall so I went back to the group.
     It was silence for a moment so I spoke up and went towards the blonde girl "Well my name is Jenny what's yours" I took out my hand for the blonde hair girl to shake. "Peyton" she took my hand and shook it with a smile I smiled back at her. I went up to the blonde hair boy and did the same with him "Jenny" I said with a smile. He took my hand and shook it "Seth" he said and nodded with a smile. Then last I went to the last boy did the same once again "Jenny what's your name." Then he took my hand and just shook it once and said "Nic." There was silence after that and I didn't know what to do until Nic spoke up "We should start to build some shelter we don't know what could be here." I nodded and I started to unpack the boxes that came up with us in the box. I knew he would become our leader because he seemed so serious and calm but at the same time he was happy to actually have people with him.

This was my first chapter to my first book. It was the best I could think of but am TRYING HERE ok. Iwill try to update everyday besides Sundays (unless I feel like I could).🤓
