Trouble Around Each Corner

     Today was the day the box would come up with new supplies and some greenies. I'm always excited to see the greenies and hopefully they wouldn't run  **cough cough Luke cough cough.**  I was sitting against a tree next to the box waiting for the alarm. The box alarm finally went off and I got up walking towards it. Nic and I would always do the honor of opening the metal doors up for the greenies. I would jump down this time into the box and make sure they were still living.
     I smiled brightly to Peyton and she smiled back. The greenies were two girls lying there still in their coma as all greenies would come up. Nic took the blonde headed girl up and passed her to Seth. Seth took her to the homestead and laid her in one of the beds. Nic brought the ginger hair,  freckled face girl and laid her on a bed beside the other girl. Peyton ran to the kitchen and tried to make some vegetable soup. Peyton was so excited that more girls were going to be in the glade. I was to busy at times to actually talk to her.
     Just before I left homestead Nic comes running out and telling me that one of the girls woke up. So I turned around walking up to the blondie. "Hey do you remember your name greenie" I asked the blonde girl. She didn't answer she just looked away and rolled her eyes. "Whoa whoa slow down greenie I didn't even catch your name" I said sarcastically with a laugh. Guess she didn't have a good side yet. She looked annoyed and angry at the moment so I left her alone in the room. "Peyton you should try to go talk to the blonde girl but be careful she doesn't smile or laugh much." I yelled for Peyton.
Peyton
     I ran to homestead to talk to the girl that was awake. "Hey my name is Peyton do you remember your name yet" I asked her. "Yeah it's Corah" she finally spoke up. "Why didn't you talk to the other girl that just came in a minute ago." "I just have a feeling I'm not going to trust her" Corah said. I didn't know what to say after that cause if she spoke to me that meant she trusted me but I also wanted to tell her she could trust Jenny. "Ok then will you let me show you around the glade. Its what we call this place." "Sure why not" Corah spoke up after thinking about it.
Jenny
     I saw the blonde greenie come out of homestead with Peyton they seemed to get along pretty well. I was wondering why she didn't like me as much but I didn't let that bother me. Nic wanted to talk to me about something serious and about Seth and Luke being runners and helping them out in the maze."So am going to be second in command and want me to be a shucking runner. Out in the maze wandering around with hideous creatures who try to kill us!" I said with a shocked face. "Exactly. Also Seth and you were the first ones to enter the maze without killing yourselves so your going to be in that maze weather you like it or not. We need more then two people helping out there" he sounded so serious about this. So I had to say yes to it. I started running tomorrow with Seth and Luke.
============Next Day===========
     "Wake up Jenny you're starting your run today remember!" Seth said yelling from the doorway. "No need for the yelling slinthead" I said laughing half asleep. I got up changed into my gear and headed out getting my breakfast and lunch for later. Luke and I sat there eating while listening to Seth going over the maze plan. Once we all finished we headed for the maze doors which weren't open just yet. So we stood around telling jokes about the Gladers. The doors started to open and once they opened completely we ran right in.
     I headed straight while Seth ran left and Luke ran right. I was still running waiting till I knew I was half way there. I sat down eating my lunch sandwich thinking to myself about the glade. After finishing up lunch I started to run ahead again. I knew I was still ahead of time before the maze doors closed so I kept on running ignoring Seth's plan. While I started walking I heard these weird clicking sounds that Seth described over breakfast which meant there was a griever around that corner that wanted to kill me. It was too close to me I started to run back following the cut vines on the wall. I guess it saw me run cause it screamed and ran towards me.
     I was still running as fast as I could but not fast enough it took its tail and stung me right in the leg and started to flip me over throwing me against the maze walls and ran off without looking back. I lied there dead but I couldn't give up. I tried to run not putting to much pressure on my bloody leg I fell from time to time but got to the maze doors they weren't closing just yet. I looked ahead and saw everyone there even the runners I collapsed onto the maze floor still far from the glade. I blacked out right there feeling pain coming from my leg and going up. I couldn't move anymore and it was still black I started to see some visions but they were mostly of a little girl I looked closer and saw who it was. It was me.

Well this is going to be interesting for Jenny. She might die who knows the griever hurt her back and stabbed her. Lesson learned if you have an order or a plan go with it do not ignore it and wait for something to happen listen to your leader.
