The Wrong Path

Changes

We were all still walking when I heard clicks behind me I pointed my spear towards the sound and motioned everyone to start running the only people who stayed behind to help me was Gracey and Kyle they put out their spears as well. There standing were two different looking grievers. They were taller, no stomach to cut, and they had shied wings. We had to figure out their weaknesses now and fast before they got to the others. We ran towards them and we tried to stab them no use. The creators just wanted to test us I knew that it was obvious. They weren't as smart as I thought they were I saw that the grievers eyes were red and that was the only thing colored. So I threw my spear at its eye and it screamed and dropped to the floor. I told the others to do the same and they did they killed the unusual creatures.
I lead the two back to the others and it seemed like they were stopping and looking at something so I ran up ahead. "What's wrong why are we stopping." "There's a door that has a code on it. We don't know what the code is thought." "Actually we might" Kyle said walking towards Seth, Nic, and I. "Then go put in the code" I said practically yelling at him. "Get ready we might have some company coming toward us" he said walking towards the door. It opened once he was close enough. Then we all pointed our spears out and the doors revealed about eight grievers. We all attacked them while Kyle unlocked the code I made sure Tony was by his side for safety. We were all still fighting but some of us died helping. Kyle finally got the code and we all started to back up slowly getting into the door. It was dark and another door opened which let in a bright light. There was a long path heading towards two doors. We ran through the long path till we reached the doors. We entered it and saw a lab. It looked so familiar to me. We all looked around the lab and took some weapons that were held by other humans on the floor dead. We didn't know what happened but we all stood gathered around Nic who was now speaking. Then we heard a door open revealing armed people that were surrounding us then the leader spoke up. "Welcome you have finally escaped the maze and am sorry about the people you have lost but you have survived and had the courage to escape. Please trust us and follow while we take you to safety" the man said. He seemed like he would actually help us so we all followed him to a helicopter and we were now being lifted up looking down at the huge maze we just escaped. I was prod to keep all my true friends safe. Now I just had to make sure we would actually reach to our happiness. We all fell asleep on the whole trip some stayed up to make sure nothing suspicious happened. Some people actually didn't trust the whole freedom thing. I didn't trust it either but I had too everyone was safe and secured.

Well this was my last chapter to my first book. If you think I should make a book two comment or vote. I know this book was really short but I thank all the people who actually read this book. I am hoping you guys would want a second book that has all the characters that survived this book and that might get new people. Hope you guy want a second book and thanks again to all the people who read this book.

P.S sorry about all the mistakes I made in this book. I have to admit I laugh at myself whenever a friend points out my mistakes.
