The Wrong Path

New Greenies

     We all started working on our jobs that Nic gave us yesterday. I was near the deadheads working in the gardens. Peyton was getting out supplies and putting them into the kitchen that Nic built her. Seth was still running today looking for a way out of this place. Nic was in the deadhead doing who knows what. It was all quiet and peaceful until the box alarm went off.
     Everyone went towards the box calmly except me I was happy and running towards it. Nic and I pulled the doors open. "We got a greenie" I said with a smile under my breath. "Not just one but two" Nic added. They were both boys one short and chubby with black hair and the other taller with brown hair. I looked at Peyton with a disappointed face. So she just walked away because she knew we were both still the only two girls here but we still were great friends.
     Nic jumped down to help the scared boys out. Once they both got out I asked the short little boy "Do you remember your name." "It's T-Tony" he stuttered. He was around the age 13 by the way he looked. As soon as I came up to the taller boy he ran towards the maze doors and knew he was going to leave. I stayed put and so did Nic because we both knew Seth was coming any minute by now. As soon as the tall boy was half way there I saw Seth look straight at him and he ran towards the tall boy and tackled him to the ground. "You didn't need to tackle him that hard but great job for stopping him." He gave me a nod and stood back up.
     He helped the boy up too. "What's your name greenie" Seth asked. "Luke" he said rolling his eyes. "Am Jenny the person you ran away from a while ago" I said with a smile. "Seth give him and Chuck the other greenie near the box the tour once you catch your breath" Nic said walking off to unpack the new supplies while I walked over to Peyton to give her some company. "Hey Peyton" I said helping her make food. "Hey who are the two new greenies names" She said. "The taller one is Luke and the short on is Tony." I said making sure am not going to ruin the food. While Peyton slapped my hand away from the fruit before I added it to the soup I didn't even know what it was until she told me. She gave me some new orders for what to add and make.

     I really want to leave this place even though I did make a few friends here. I just want to make sure everyone was safe, happy, and at least trying to help and find a way out. I guess am just going to have to get use to this because we're going to be here for a while. Loosen up a little Nic you are way to serious sometimes and everyone can see it. Look at me talking to myself while the others make friends. I do feel like a leader once in a while and everyone does obey me a lot so I have to be serious once in a while but not all the times. Tomorrow start fresh and be like the others but still act like a leader. Seth is helping and giving the tour to the greenies which helps me out a little more.

I will try to be putting in more of the other Gladers so you can see what there thinking or seeing. If your reading this chapter then that tells me am doing pretty well or your just bored to death that you will literally read this. Comment I will try to answer back if I can. Thanks for reading my first book ever.
P.S I am really bad at writing books but I don't care if you hate it I love how it is.
