My knock echoed throughout the street, and the cold night air traversed down my spine, sending an icy chill shuddering through me. Jeremy's arms around my waist warmed me right back up.

Kellin was quick to answer his door.

"Hey. Come on in," he smiled. I knew he was laughing viciously at us on the inside. I could see it in his eyes.

I took my coat off and hung it on the bannister, as did Jeremy. We then stepped into his front room and seated ourselves on the couch.

"What brings you here," he asked smugly, though I could see he genuinely didn't know. How could he not have guessed?

"You know what you said about Jeremy and I yesterday? Well...we're together now," I announced.

Kellin immediately gasped happily. "I knew it! I told you that you should get together! Congratulations!"

We chatted about many things until 7pm came by and we had to leave to meet Kevin, Alex, Neil, and Josh. Kellin happily led us out and whispered in my ear as I shrugged my coat on, "I wish you the best of luck. Oh, and, I freaking TOLD YOU so. I totally called it."

And with that, we were back out in the freezing night, Jeremy's car the only place holding warmth.

"Are you cold, darling? Come here," Jeremy smiled. I leaned over the car seat gap to find his embrace. He just seemed to radiate heat.

"I love you," I reminded him. He leaned down and kissed my ear.

"I love you too."

I leaned back up after about five minutes and strapped myself in. We went met the others at a club downtown named Rock City.

"Are you ready?" Jeremy asked, about to open the car door.

"I am," I winked, and he smirked. The boys were happy to see us as we got out of the car.

We waited in the queue patiently for Rock City to open. Jeremy wrapped his arms around my waist from the back.

"You excited, honey?" He asked. I didn't have time to reply before he whipped me round and kissed me for about ten seconds. I felt him smile mid-kiss. Aww!

Neil came up and shoved me lightly and teasingly once Jeremy broke away. "Can you two just get married please? Like, seriously," he frowned. I blushed.

I wish.

"Oh my god, is that A Day to Remember?!"

Screams reached my ears as ADTR fans began to notice us. Jeremy wrapped his arms around me again, this time protectively.

"Hey, does Jeremy have a girlfriend now?"

"She is beautiful though."

"Yeah, I don't blame him."

I let their praising comments pass through me. At least they weren't trying to steal him away from me.

Suddenly, the queue started moving forward. A buzz of excitement ran through me. I was in the mood for a good rock out.

Jeremy wouldn't let go of me until we were inside and sat down with drinks. A few fans came up to the guys to get signatures, but none of us minded.

I waited for a good song before I got up and danced. Soon, the DJ put The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle on and I was up and going. The boys came up with me, pretending to play.

Eventually the DJ invited them on stage to sing a slower song for the couples. They decided on If It Means A Lot To You, a song they'd released as a single. Personally, it was one of my favourites that they'd ever written.

About a minute or two into the song, just before the part where the girl sings, Jeremy spoke. "I'd like to invite my beautiful girlfriend on stage to sing this part."

The crowd roared and my hand came to my mouth in shock as Jeremy came down from the stage, took my hand, and led me up. Neil handed me another microphone and winked. I blushed and began to sing.

As soon as I did, the crowd screamed, and I was met with deafening singalongs. I'd never felt quite so amazing in my entire life. I felt known, and proud to know these five perfect men.

Jeremy took my hand at the middle part and we sang together towards the end. When the song finished, he turned me around and kissed me, right there on stage. The crowd had grown notably larger than when we first began to sing, and there was another loud collective scream.

"Thank you!" Jeremy shouted after pulling away, and we left the stage. I pulled him into my arms.

"Oh, Jeremy, that was perfect...thank you so much..." I thanked him, kissing him again.

He didn't reply. He froze and stared straight ahead at something, his face contorting with shock, embarrassment, and fear. I followed his gaze and it was then that I saw him.

He was stood rigid yet shaking, tears down his face, his eyes holding a broken look and face of shock so genuine it tore me to pieces just to see him like this.

"Zack, I..."

"Ember, how could you do this and not tell me?!"

"I was going to! I just needed time, and I didn't wanna cause trouble, and..."

"But I love you!"

"I know..." I whispered, my gaze moving up to Jeremy, whose face was embedded with sincerity.

"Zack, we didn't do this to cause you pain, I promise you. We just wanted to avoid trouble. I'm sorry if this has hurt you," he told my buff friend calmly. Zack shook his head vigorously, his jaw clenched. He was still staring at me as Jeremy spoke, but he tore his eyes away from me to glare coldly at Jeremy.

"You! This is your fault!" He growled.

Zack launched himself at Jeremy and began punching and kicking at him. All I could do was stand there hopelessly as the pair fought, locked in a battle I had caused...
