A week passed swiftly by and Jeremy was on the mend. He'd been well enough to come and listen to us record the backing vocals again, but ended up too exhausted to join in or do the front vocals.

Kellin was even more concerned than I was. He'd told me all week that he was too busy with his own album to come visit me, but I think that was a lie - his voice wavered with dishonesty and embarrassment every time we spoke on the phone. I was going to confront him about it when I saw him. I just knew that Vic was part of it.

Eventually, he came round with a gift for Jeremy. It was a giant portrait he'd painted of Jeremy and I hugging, stood in the snow. It was incredible. Jeremy loved it too, and he was ever so grateful. While he went to find a place to put it in his room, I grabbed Kellin as he tried to run off from me, blushing.

"No running, mister. You've got some explaining to do. I know you're lying to me," I smirked. "What have you been doing this week?"

He writhed and struggled in my grip. Sweat fell down his forehead, and after a minute of silence, he blurted, "I'M GAY!"

Arching an eyebrow as he cowered, I replied, "that's awesome."

"I...is it?" His beautiful turquoise eyes widened.

"Yes, you idiot! Do you have a boyfriend?" I smirked again. "Is it Vic?"

"Y-yes..." Kellin exhaled in almost a sigh of relief. I giggled and hugged him.

"You didn't have to hide that from me. I'll always love you, you know that."

He hugged me back tightly and nuzzled against my hair. "Thanks, Baby Quinn."

"No problem, Big Quinn."

Later, Jeremy had gone out for the day for a signing in downtown Ocala, which he said he was healthy enough to attend. Kellin stayed with me at his house.

I cast my gaze around his front room, taking in the bland white walls. Jeremy had always said that he wanted to decorate it uniquely, and Kellin and I wanted to give him a little surprise when he got home, so we decided to start decorating.

Together, we painted his walls with a drawing of his band, some instruments, a picture of him singing, along with his favourite lyrics and quotes. We paint splattered the empty gaps with miscellaneous colours we had left over.

It took us almost the rest of the night, but we were proud of the result. I just knew it was the right thing to make him happy.

We'd just finished moving the furniture back into the room when Jeremy arrived home. I ran to the door to greet him after whispering to Kellin for him to make sure everything was in accordance.

Jeremy grinned wide when he saw me. "Hey Emb-"

"Close your eyes, Jer," I instructed.

"Huh? Why?"

"Please."

"Alright..."

I led him into the front room after he did as I asked. Kellin stood waiting with an excited smile.

I saw Jeremy frown. "Why does it smell like paint?"

"Open your eyes and find out."

He opened his eyes and gasped immediately. "Ember! Kellin! This is..."

Kellin chuckled. "It took us all day, but we wanted to do something that would make you happy throughout your recovery."

"Guys..." Jeremy breathed.

"Do you like it then?" I inquired. Jeremy shook his head.

"No. I don't like it."

Mine and Kellin's faces dropped, tears coming to our eyes instantaneously. "Y-you don't?"

"No...I love it!" Jeremy grabbed us both into a hug. "I...it's incredible. I can't even find the words. Thank you so much guys...I love you so much."

Our smiles returned swiftly. I giggled and nuzzled against his chest.

When we finished our group hug, I went to make us some coffee while Kellin showed him each part of the room. I sat and smiled to myself. I knew he'd love it. I loved it myself.

I finished up the coffee and called them into the kitchen to drink it. We were all tired, and grateful for the chance to warm up and wind down.

"I love you guys so much. Seriously. I don't know how much love a guy can have," Jeremy smiled and blushed slightly.

"You can never have enough love for the Quinns," Kellin laughed. We chuckled along with him.

My brother soon left after finishing his drink. We gave him plenty of hugs and kisses. I smirked as Vic rang him just as he stepped out the door. Aww. I couldn't wait to see them together.

Today had been great. I knew that the next day would be even greater as Jeremy told me he had a surprise in store for me. I couldn't wait.
