When He Confesses

NARUTO

You wait for your bestfriend, Naruto, to return from the kitchen with a glass of water for you. Since you can be lazy, you asked him to get it for you. It's been a good five minutes and he still hasn't returned.

You get suspicious and go to the kitchen to find an empty space. You hear his voice and look through his bedroom door which is left slightly ajar. Naruto is staring at himself in the mirror intently.

"I can do this. I am not a coward. Just say it Naruto. Spit it out." He says to himself.

"Spit what out?" You ask curiously and open the door fully.

He spins around to face you. He inhales and walks over to you. In case you didn't know, Naruto's room can be very messy and this was one of those days.

He stumbles over some clothes on the floor and literally falls on top of you. His face hovers over yours.

"Y/N, I like you... A lot. As more than just a friend." He says softly. Your face breaks out into a massive smile.

"I like you too, Naruto." You say. His face turns bright red when he realises the awkward position on the floor that you two were in. He stands up straight and offers you a hand to stand up. Instead of letting go, he intertwines your fingers together.

SASUKE

"Sasuke! Don't leave..." You call out to him. You hoped your voice would stay steady and strong but to your disappointment it cracks, indicating that you are going to cry.

"Please! You and me... Us. You're just going to leave our friendship behind? Throw it aside like it meant nothing to you? All for what? All for power and strength and revenge. Why would you turn to the evil side when you have our friendship? You promised that you would always be there for me. Now at least I know you are a liar and that you never really cared." You yell to his back.

He turns around to face you. Tears are streaming down your face and show no sign of stopping.

"You idiot. I didn't lie. I do care about you. More than you know Y/N." His voice goes quieter with every word.

"SAY IT! SASUKE JUST SAY IT!" You yell. Honestly, you don't know what you want him to say. You just want to stall.

"I like you! God Y/N you're so blind. I've been throwing signals at you since we met. You act like me leaving is harder on you than it is on me but that's not true. It's harder for me. I'm leaving behind the only person that made me laugh and smile. The only girl that could make my heart flutter. The only person who I can't bare to leave. It's you. It's always been you." He says and stands directly infront of you. You fling your arms around his neck and to your astonishment he pulls you closer.

"Don't leave." You choke out.

"I won't." He responds and buries his face in your hair.

NEJI

You and Hinata are close friends so it was only normal for the two of you to hang out at each others houses.

Today you are with Hinata in her bedroom chatting.

"It's obvious you are head over heels in love with Naruto, Hinata, you don't have to 'hide' it from me anymore." You say and watch with amusement as her face turns red.
