"Park Jimin aren't you gonna wake up?" I tried shaking him by the shoulder but he stayed asleep.
I was already fatigued from all the walking from my house to his, especially when I slept at 3 a.m. the previous night, but Jimin didn't even budge and stayed in deep sleep even after I spend about ten minutes yelling at him to wake up.
"Park Jimin let's go!" I stood up and pulled his hand with utmost force that my body was leaning backwards. Jimin stayed asleep but suddenly rolled towards my direction, causing me to fall backwards accompanied with a thud.
"Ouch!" I rubbed my back, sitting on the floor.
"Go where?" Jimin finally spoke, his morning voice raspy as always.
"School of course, smartass!" I rose up from the ground and brushed my skirt down.
Jimin let out a hoarse chuckle, his eyes still closing.
"Today is a national holiday, babo-yah." A smile stayed on his lips even after he was done talking.
"What?!" I quickly grabbed my bag and rummaged through it to look for my phone, immediately opening the calendar app after I found it.
May 25th - Buddha's Birthday.
"Holy co-- How can I not know this?!" I landed myself down sitting on the edge of Jimin's bed.
"I actually woke up in the early morning after barely sleeping and prepared myself for school on a national holiday," I hung my head low and I closed my tired eyes.
"I'm so tired!" I whined.
Out of nowhere, Jimin threw his blankets aside and rose up from the bed. He walked to my side and tucked me into the bed.
"Now go sleep here. I'll go sleep at Jisang's room," he patted my head and smiled before finally heading towards the door and turning the lights back off.
"And instead of smartass, call me sexyass next time." He formed a gun with his fingers, clicked his tongue and winked before leaving the room. I giggled and closed my heavy lids.
I slept for about three more hours.
A dry feeling in my throat caused me to wake up. I picked up my drinking bottle from my school bag and drank from it, but then can't go back to sleep. I heard voices from downstairs and decided to head there.
"Jisang-ah, how much oil do we have to use again?"
"I'm not sure hyung, I can't remember if mom said fifteen milliliters or fifty.."
"You're gonna put fifty milliliters of oil in a kimchi fried rice for two?" I chuckled, causing both of the boys' heads to turn towards my direction.
"Noona, save us!" Jisang said.
"Yes noona, please!" Jimin added.
I walked to the kitchen and opened the fridge to get the stuffs needed, "Kimchi fried rice?"
"Yeah, two portions would be enough.." Jimin answered.
"I'll do it as long as you let me cook three," I grinned, "I haven't had proper breakfast, you know.."
"Sure, sure," they said simultaneously, "Do as you please!" Jimin continued.
I smiled at their behavior as I took out all the ingredients needed. After making sure everything's ready, I started right away. Even though my cooking skills were almost as limited to just for daily survival purposes, the kimchi fried rice turned out pretty well. We ate together, the three of us. Done eating and making sure the boys did the dishes, Jimin and I decided to study for a test upcoming on the next day.
