I was awoken by the sound of a loud bang. My head shot up from my pillow searching my room for the sound of the noise. I saw a dark shape near a closed door at the end of the room. The light switched on and I had to close my eyes quickly as they were not adjusted to the bright light. When my eyes had adjusted I opened them to see a person I had not expected to see. Sam! Why would he go to all that trouble of knocking me out, just to move me into his bedroom?
"Sam, what am I doing in your bedroom-" I started to say but was interrupted.
"My name isn't Sam! My name is Dean." The Sam look alike or Dean yelled at me. He walked forward until he was standing right in front of me. Now that he was so close, I could see the similarities as well as the differences between Sam and Dean. Where Sam had blue eyes, Dean had a deep brown. Sam also had more muscle and a deeper tan. I had to remind myself to keep my thoughts clean rather than dirty.
"If you're not Sam, then who are you?" I asked him suspiciously.
"I'm his twin brother. Obviously he didn't mention that. I'm guessing neither did anyone else from his family? I'm not surprised. They hate me." He said with clear distaste but I could also detect a deep sadness.
"I'm sure that's not true-"
"Don't you dare try and tell me that it's not true! They kicked me out of the house when I was thirteen years old. Abandoned me to live by myself with no one to turn to. They blamed me for a tragedy that I didn't do. I swore to have my revenge on them and the time has come." He said with great conviction.
"What happened between you and your family Dean?"
"Why should I tell you?"
"Because I care and I'm pretty sure someone hasn't done that for a very long time." He looked quite shocked at what I had said but I knew what I said was true. I was right about what I had said to him and I could tell that he was going to tell me.
"I had just come home from school when I had heard it, the loud sound of a gunshot. I knew something was terribly wrong because I knew that the only person that could have been home was our younger sister Emma and her day time nanny. I rushed up the stairs to my sister's room only to see the window open and my eight year old sister bleeding on the ground. I rushed to her and tried to stop the bleeding but I knew that her wounds were too great and that she wouldn't make it. I swear I tried everything to save her but nothing was working and she died in my arms. I will never forgive myself for her death but there is nothing I can do now. Mum, Dad and Sam came home and long story short; they didn't believe me and blamed me for what happened to Emma. They kicked me out on my own and stripped me of the family title. I was an outcast, all alone with no one to comfort me." He started to cry and there was nothing else to do except pull him over to the bed and sit him down. I pulled him into a hug to comfort him. After a while he stopped crying and I just kept my arms around him.
"Dean?"
"Yeah?" He replied after a few minutes.
"Did you ever explain to them your side of the story?"
"They never gave me the chance. They saw Emma, blamed me and then kicked me out. They didn't want to hear it".
"What if I could convince Sam to talk to your parents about listening to what you have to say?"
"Are you serious? I could finally have my family back! Do you think you could convince them?" He said with a hopeful expression.
"l will try my absolute hardest. You might find that I can be very convincing when I need to be. Especially when Sam is involved." I said with a wink.
"What are you waiting for? Let's go! C'mon!" He said excitedly, pulling me up off the bed and towards the door. I was going back to the castle. Back to Sam.
