Mikey, Ray and I excused ourselves to go to his room as we finished eating.
Mikey and I sat on Ray's bed as Ray sat on one of those swivel chairs, he turned around facing us.
"So Mikey, what do you like doing?" I asked, trying to start a conversation.
He replied, "I love reading comics!" with a huge grin on his face.
Ray looked at me and said, "You know I forgot to tell you this, Mikey is Gerard's younger brother." He chuckled waiting for my response.
What. The. Fuck. Was. Ray. Freaking. Kidding. Me.
My jaw dropped, I stared at Ray as if he just told me that he was truly a unicorn.
After about ten seconds I turned to Mikey and just observed *yes observed not stared* him for half a minute before I finally snapped out of it.
"So I take it you've met Gerard?" Mikey finally said, breaking the awkward silence.
"Met Gerard? Met Gerard? She took a glance at Gerard and practically fell in love with him!" Ray replied jokingly, I threw a pillow at him as they were both laughing their butts off. Yay. Just Wonderful.
"I am not in love with Gerard!" I shouted emphazising the word NOT.
Mikey just looked at me, shook his head and said, "Sure."
We just sat there for a while in silence until Ray finally asked me, "You're attending Belleville High right?"
I nodded, my grandpa had told me about it on the plane ride. "Junior, so when does school start?" I questioned. "On....Monday! Crap, time flies! Well, Mikey and Frank are Juniors too."
"Frank?" I questioned. Mikey nodded and said he was a friend of theirs.
"GERARD, Bob (also a friend of ours) and I are Seniors." Ray said, his voice full of pride as if he were giving a speech about freedom.
I rolled my eyes at Ray.
We chatted for a while, I learnt some stuff about Ray and Mikey then we started watching episodes of The Simpsons which I happen to love!
I located a digital alarm on Ray's bed side tabe which read: 11:23pm
I got up and announced, "Well it was great to meet you Mikey!" I gave him a hug then turned to Ray and gave him one as well.
"I'll see you guys in school!" I waved at them as I exited the room and walked down the stairs. I said goodbye to Mr. and Mrs.Toro and thanked them. "You can come over anytime dear!" I heard Mrs.Toro say as I closed the door.
