*Gerard's P.O.V* (Last Period)
Time goes by so fucking slowly. I stare at the clock. I can't wait until I get out of this hell hole they call High School.
-Bell Rings-
I quickly grab my stuff and leave the classroom. "Ray! Wait up." Ray turns around and greets me, "Sup?". "I gotta talk to you, you got the time?" He nodded. "It's about Alex." He smiles, "So you finally met her! She's really nice isn't she?".
Shit. "I.. I don't even know. I mean you're right she was surprisingly nice. Way too nice, I mean how is that even possible? Alex is fucking one of them, she..it.. it has to be a dare Ray, it's not possible it just isn't. Someone like her would never even TALK to someone like...me. That's just fucking it I guess, what the hell am I even thinking like Alex would ever like me for a minute." I just burst out. I don't know where the hell that came from.
He stared at me surprised, I was about to say something until Ray said, "Woah, woah, woah. Slow down. Gerard, look, she may be friends with the popular kids but she's different. It's not a dare, she's not like that Gee. Just give her a shot and don't put yourself down like that."
Maybe he's right.. It just seems too good to be true. "I... I.. don't know, it seems so unreal. How do you know she's different? " I sighed, turned around and started walking before he could say anything. What if Ray's really right? What if...no. I won't let her fool me.
*Alex's P.O.V*
--After School--
Well today went fabulous, (hint the sarcasm). I stared at the pavement as I walked beside Ray, thoughts were running through my head. Gerard. Gerard. Gerard. Eugh.
"What's wrong?" Ray questioned, I looked up at him. "Am I that obvious?" I chuckled. He nodded and said, "Start talking." "Is Gerard always...so distant?" I questioned. He replied, "Aha. So it is about Gerard. And well, truthfully sometimes yeah. He isn't the easiest person on Earth to talk to." I nodded.
I was about to turn right onto my driveway as Ray quickly said," The only things I can tell you is, be patient. He will open up to you just always be yourself and never take anyone's shit. When you're with him just act like you're with me, Mikes, Frank or Bob."
I grin, "Thanks Ray, really. For everything, you're such a great friend." He just laughed and waved goodbye.
