*Alex's P.O.V*
Today's the day. I will not live in regret looking back on not taking chances. Life is short anyways, I don't want to be stuck imagining what could've been.
I press the door bell and Mikey greets me, "Morning sunshine!". I chuckle and greet him back. "Is Gee in?". "Yupp," Mikey responded popping the 'P' sound."In his room. You gonna tell him?!" I nodded and whispered 'Wish me luck!'
I made my way up the stairs, knocked on his door and entered. He looked up from his art work and quickly closed the sketchbook and put it away.
"H-hey, what are you doing here?" he stuttered. "I, um, really want to talk to you. Is it a good time?" I said. Gee nodded, gosh he's adorable. I sat down next to him on the floor.
I took a deep breath and began, "Look, I kind of really, really, really, really like you." I looked down afraid to see his facial reaction. When he didn't reply after thirty seconds, I winced and looked up.
"I-I-I knew this was a bad idea. Just, just forget it." I said getting up. He was still in shock but blurted out, "No, wait! Don't go!". I turned around to face him, "Well, I've just about ruined everything. So give me one good reason as to why I shouldn't go." I replied.
Gerard got up from the floor and smirked, "Because I feel the same way about you." Before my brain could fully proccess what he had just said his lips crashed mine. And at that moment I knew that he was worth it.
"I'm sorry, I blanked out on you. I couldn't believe what I heard somone like you would like someone like me. It just- I-" He stumbled over his words.
"What do you mean someone like me and someone like you?" I questioned.
"Someone as popular, smart and beautiful as you, and someone as dull, ugly and uncool as me. I mean you'll be someone and you'll go places. But me..." Gee trailed off.
I was just horrified. "Don't ever talk about yourself like that Gerard. You're not ugly, you have the most amazing eyes. I love your hair...it's, I don't know there is something really attractive about it. I am literally mesmerized by your looks. And dull? You must be kidding me, you're amazingly talented and so unique. Gee, I believe that one day you're gonna save lives. I just have a feeling that you'll be someone inspiring, someone that people can look up to and say. Yep, him, Gerard Way. He's my hero." I smiled at him reassuringly.
He simply said, "I love you."
