Chapter 4: Ships + New Friends

Sky's POV

School just started, so it was the 2nd day of school. Classes just seemed to fly by. We got seating arrangements, and got first assignments. Before I knew it, it was time to go to lunch. To be honest, I was sort of excited. If Preston was right, and the plan fully worked, it would be interesting to see how Rob and Ash acted. 

"Are you even listening to me?" 

"Yep, totally." I told Ash.

She laughed. "Yeah, sure. What did I just say?"

"That you would tell Rob how you feel, and you two would start dating, and live happily ever after?" 

"Oh shut up." She said rolling her eyes. "You just wish that would happen."

"You do too." I muttered making sure she heard. 

She lightly punched my arm. "Just shut up already."

We walked into the lunch room. I looked at the table where Rob and Preston were. Luckily, Rachel wasn't there. However, there was another guy sitting with them. I didn't fail to notice that Ash almost had a fangirl attack. Ok, so this guy is another youtuber. I don't know if I should be happy or sad. There was also another thing. Rob was looking, no, more like staring, at Ash and smiling. So, that's good. Did she even notice? I followed her gaze. Nope, she was still looking at the short dude sitting with Preston and Rob. 

I nudged her arm, and she looked at me startled. "Do you even see that he's staring at you?" I asked.

She looked over at Rob, and she smiled at him. I don't know how it was possible, but Rob smiled even wider.

"Come on, lets go, we don't want to stand here forever."  I told Ash. We walked over to the table, and said hi, then sat down. I sat down with Ash on one side of the table while Preston, Rob, and the new guy on the other side. 

The new guy looked at me and smiled. "Do you even know who I am?" He asked. 

I was about to respond, but Ash responded for me. "Of course she does. I do too."

I looked at her. "And what if I don't know who he is?"

She looked at me seriously. "I'll disown you as my best friend."

That caused everyone at the table to laugh, including me. Ash looked at Rob, saw that he was laughing, and looked down at the table, blushing. 

"So do you know who I am?" The guy asked again.

I looked at him for a few seconds. I'm a good analyzer, I can pick up details that most people wouldn't pick up. I'm sort of like Sherlock Homes, except not as cool. 

I nodded. "Yeah, I can tell."

Preston rolled his eyes. "I don't think you do."

I looked at him suspiciously. "Really? Why not." I asked.

"Because you haven't told him who he is yet. So, you're probably stalling. Meaning that you don't know."

"Oh really?"

"Yep." He grinned. 

"Well, Preston, watch this." I bragged and then turned to the guy.

"Here are my observations. Not to be mean, but you are sort of short. Plus, because of your accent your probably British, so from the UK. And since, from what I can tell, you're friends with Preston and Rob. So, you're probably apart of the Pack. Therefore, making you, and correct me if I'm wrong, Vikkstar123 or Vikk."

I smiled smugly. I knew I got it right because when I looked at Preston, he looked astonished. I laughed.

Ash laughed too. "You shouldn't doubt her you know. She knows more than you think she does."

Rob smiled. "Wow, Preston. You just called out Sky, and she totally destroyed you."

Preston's face changed to embarrassed and angry. "Whatever. It was probably a lucky guess."

Vikk laughed. "You call that a 'lucky guess'? She nailed it dude." 

I smiled. "Got anything to say Preston? Tell me to recite more information, and I will."

He narrowed his eyes playfully at me. "Oh, yeah?" 

I nodded. "Yep."

The rest of lunch was just us eating, Preston quizzing me about stuff, me getting it right every time, and Ash blushing every time Rob stared at her. What after seemed like a minute, the bell rang. Rob and Vikk went off to the same class, and Preston, Ash, and I went to a different class together. Now, we just had to endure about 2 more hours of school, and we would be done. 

~~~~~Time Skip till after school~~~~~

I was talking with Ash while she was getting her backpack out of her locker. I was already done. Dang, Ash was slow. 

"Come on, Ash. You're so slow." I whined.

She laughed. "Oh, just shut up. I'll take even longer if you complain."

"Fine, then I'm leaving." I said as I started walking away. 

"Hey!" She yelled. "Wait for me!"

"No!" I yelled back. "I kind of want to walk and think for a little bit!" 

I saw her nod. Sometimes, I just needed to walk by myself and clear my mind. It helped me calm down, and just think of things. Wait, I haven't posted a video on YouTube for about a week. I need to post one. I might even add Preston, Rob, Vikk, or Ash in it. Maybe a first day of school expectation vs. reality video? Yeah, I think that will be cool. See? I haven't even been walking for 2 minutes, and I already have a video idea. 

I kept walking and thinking. I was almost home. But apparently I wasn't paying attention because I ran into someone. I gasped when the stranger and I fell down. 

I looked at the person I knocked over. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I guess I wasn't paying attention."

"It's no problem, I wasn't looking where I was going either." They said back. 

I looked closely at the person. First observations: They were male, and they had blond hair and blue eyes.

"Why are you looking at me?" He asked. 

"I'm trying to figure out who you are. I know I know you. Plus my best friend would kill me if I didn't know who you are." I shrugged.

"Ah," he said understanding. "So, you don't want me to tell you who I am?" 

"I wouldn't mind if you told me. My brain is getting tired of all the guessing."

He laughed. "Ok. Well, it's nice to meet you, I'm Lachlan."

I smiled. "I'm Sky."

Hi, guys. Sorry, but I'm ending it there. It's not really a cliffhanger. Trust me I could have done worse. Are you guys happy Vikk and Lachlan appeared in the story? You seriously thought that I would add Vikk and not Lachlan?! You have to have that Vikklan. But will it happen? I don't know, stay tuned to find out! And what about Rob and Ash? Both of them seem to like each other. Anyway, are you happy for 2 chapters? This story is really fun to write. But until next time, comment, vote, and all that jazz, and I'll see you guys later.
