"Alright! Let's get exploring!!" The Doctor let go of me and headed to the door. He turned, winked at me, and opened the door. A cool brisk of air flowed on my body and I shivered. I walked slowly towards the open field. I turned towards the hallway where Alex was asleep and smiled. "Be safe. You know how to find me. You always do." I whispered and closed the TARDIS door behind me. Amy was standing right behind me when I turned around. She hugged me. When she let go, we started walking after the Doctor with her arm around my neck. "So you're my girl, eh?" She sounded calm, and happy. "I guess so..." This is very awkward. A woman who burst into my bedroom one night is suddenly my mum and that I met only five days ago. I do believe she's my mum, but I wish we could have met sooner. Or I could have just ignored the Doctor when he broke into my flat. All of a sudden, I fell to the ground. Great. Lost in my thoughts again. "RIVER!!" The three said all simultaneously. "Sorry. Erm... Shall we head into the forest and look for... Erm... Life, I guess?" Rory helped me up and we all walked into the forest. What is wrong with me? This keeps happening more and more often. I-I keep zoning out. Ok, Riv. Just have to stay focused. The Doctor walked around, scanning everything with his Sonic. It glowed a bright green and only he could read it. I think I once knew how to read a Sonic, but it's part of the memories that haven't become quite clear - wait. Focus, River Song. Just then, there was a rustle in the shrubs behind us. We all turned around instantly. Doctor scanned the shrubs with his sonic and turned around. "Nothing" he said with an extremely blank and terrified look on his face. "It was probably just the wind." Amy said, trying to calm down again. "That's just it though, Amy. There is no wind. Not enough bodies of water to produce... Any... Wind..." He turned to the three of us looking at him in confusion. "Does anyone else hear whispering?" I remember. "DOCTOR! Whatever you do, do NOT follow the whispers!!" He walked over to me and cradled my head in his hands. "Yes. YES!! RIVER YOU ARE BRILLIANT!!" He kissed me on the forehead. "Doctor...? What's going on?" Rory spoke up for the first time in a long time. "Rory, the whispers are coming from the Whispermen. They kill you if you get to close to them. They are faceless creatures that have sharp white teeth in a pitch black mouth. They attack in small groups and stop the hearts of their victims with their whispers. Be careful what you hear from them, because they whisper the truth in short rhymes. But the truth can lead to death. They are the only creature a Time Lord is scared of. The ONLY creature. River, you CANNOT listen to them. They will try to attack you first, because you... Never mind. Just don't listen to them." The Doctor babbled on. "What about me, Doctor? Tell me!!" I was trying to get it out of him." He looked at me and smiled. "Well, like you used to say to me, spoilers!!" I was confused. I never said that. Well, that I could remember.
