We landed back in the parking garage of my flat building. I walked everyone up to my flat and opened the door. Home. I made some hot chocolate and gave everyone a chance to get comfortable. The Doctor sat in my bedroom window looking over Florida. I brought him a cup of hot chocolate. He took a sip and spit it out. I laughed. "Rubbish. Chocolate is rubbish. Where ever this came from, I will go back and destroy it!!" I smiled. He looked at me and smiled. "You know, you could have showed me the note the night you got it." I looked down on the city. Covered in lights. "I wanted to make sure you knew me. And Rory. And Amy. And yourself. I wanted to be sure you were ready. I-I love you, River. I didn't want to hurt you. It would kill me." I loved him. I think he knew it, too. "You know, Doctor, You'll be the death of me." I smirked and leaned against him. He threw his arm around me, still holding the cup of hot chocolate. "Don't remind me." He was thinking again. "Doctor. Spoilers." He loved it when I said that. I nestled farther into him. He was so warm. I guess two hearts can really come in handy... He pulled me closer. I looked up at him and he looked down at me. I sat up and kissed him. The first real kiss we've had. It was wonderful. It was... "Brilliant." ;)
