Alex Narrative

Alex has had the same dream since her and River got on the TARDIS. It was like it was trying to tell her something. The dream was about her parents. Well, it was only her parents. Her memory of them were erased when she was born. Her father in her dreams looked just like her. Short, brown frisky hair, very tall, and a love of blue. He had on a blue business suit, a red tie, a brown jacket, and a tan trench coat. He smiled with his dark brown eyes sparkling. He held hands with Alex's mother. She was about 3 inches shorter than her father with dirty blonde short, frizzy hair. She had on an ankle-length long sleeved, black dress with silver jewels along the low neckline. She was the only one to speak and it was the same words each time. "Be safe. You know how to find me. You always do. You just have to focus." She woke with a jerk. The dream was starting to agitate her. She got up and walked out to the console room. It was empty. "River? Doctor? Amy? Rory? Is anyone here?" She was beginning to get scared. She walked to the window to see an open field covered in sparkling frost. "Where am I? I'm all alone." Just then, she heard her mother's voice. The one from the dream. Alex turned around to see a hologram of her mother, exactly like the image of her in the dream. Her mother spoke with such grace and calmness. "Alexandria, dear. I am an emergency protocol put on the TARDIS by the Doctor because he knew you would be alone here." "H-how did he know, mother?" Alex spoke the word mother like she had said it to the woman before. "No time for an explanation, love. You need to save River, Amy, Rory, and the Doctor. You just have to concentrate and you can find them." "Ok, but how? They don't have any GPS system or anything, do they?" "No. You just have to close your eyes. You will have a mental link with the Doctor." "Why do I have a link with him? I met him a week ago." "Spoilers." She blew Alex a kiss then said one last thing: "I will see you soon, love." Then smiled and vaporized into the TARDIS console. Alex followed her mother's orders. She closed her eyes and thought of The Doctor. His floppy, dark brown hair and goofy attitude. His style is neat with a red bow tie and a tan jacket. He is strangely tall, just like her father. He carries a silver thing he calls the Sonic. Just then, the picture became fuzzy, then clear. "Alex?" "Yeah. Wow, that actually worked. Ok, so what... Exactly... Am I supposed to do?" "Right then. Alex, where are you?" The Doctor spoke to her with intensity. "Um.. By the door." "Ok. In the umbrella holder on the left of the door, is River's holster. It has her blaster and a knife in it. Grab it." "Ok. What now?" She grabbed the holster and wrapped it around her waist. "Ok. Erm... Come out of the TARDIS and lock it. The key should be on the console somewhere. Lock it behind you and run to the right of it. Go all the way straight through the forrest. You need to focus on running. Do not listen to the whispers in the forrest. We are loosing connection. I have to go. Good Luck, Alex." Alex grabbed the key and ran out the TARDIS, thinking about her parents all the way through the forest. "River. Amy. Rory. All one family, and what am I? Just as lonely as the Doctor." She thought to herself. Right then, she heard whispering. "Alexandria" a breathy whisper surrounded her head and repeated itself. "A lonely girl, reunited soon with her world." She remembered what the Doctor said about the whispers. Don't listen to them. She ignored them, but kept a small part of her brain with one in particular. "The Doctor's secrets will be revealed, but only by the one deepest sealed." She held it. After about five minutes of running in the forest, Alex got to the field. "I'm he- Woah. What the hell are those?!?" "Alex!! Brilliant. Listen, do not blink. Keep your eyes on them and walk slowly towards me, but put the blaster in your hands and ready to shoot." She pulled the blaster out without looking away from the angels and put her finger on the trigger. She walked sideways to the Doctor kneeling down next to Rory. They were both covering something. Bodies. "Great, now Doctor, what is going on?" Alex calmed her racing heartbeat because when she glanced at The Doctor, an angel gained on her. "Ok, so these are Weeping Angels. They look like stone, but when you blink, they move. And if you touch them, they can kill you, or even send you back in time, which rewrites your entire time stream. So be careful around them." "Yeah, I think she has the danger part down..." Rory said, trying to ease the tension, but obviously failing. "Erm, Doctor? Why was my mother the emergency protocol for the TARDIS?" Alex needed to know why her mother could see and hear her. "Alex, I will explain later. Can you just shoot the angels?" She wanted to refuse, but she needed to follow her mother's orders. She focused an angel in the sight of the blaster and shot an angel into dust. One after another. After all the angels were blasted, Alex ran over to River and hugged her. "I-I'm sorry I didn't get here sooner." She saw her friend lying down on the grass, covering Amy. She started to cry. She lost a friend. A life-long friend is gone, for good.
